| Xilankapu is a kind of folk brocade created by Tujia ancestors,which is very practical and decorative.It is also the most important handicraft intangible cultural heritage of Tujia people.The pattern of Xilankapu is rich in theme,bright in color,simple in shape and fine in craftsmanship.Its emergence and development reflect the unique aesthetic orientation and wisdom of life of Tujia people,and it still has high inheritance value and broad application space today.The purpose of this research is to sort out the origin of the pattern of Xilankapu,analyze its pattern characteristics and its cultural implication,explore the application of Xilankapu pattern in modern soft decoration design,and promote the protection,inheritance and development of Xilankapu.This topic focuses on the application of the Xilankapu pattern in modern soft decoration design,and explores the path of combining China’s outstanding intangible cultural heritage with modern aesthetics,so as to develop soft decoration design products with strong practicability and market competitiveness.Incorporating Xi Lankapu pattern into modern soft decoration design can transform traditional national crafts into modern soft decoration design language,meet modern people’s diversified aesthetic needs in modern soft decoration design,and promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background,research purpose and research significance of the paper,sorts out and summarizes the research status at home and abroad,and puts forward the main contents and research methods of the paper,as well as the key points and difficulties.The second chapter combs the historical origin of Xilankapu and the causes of its patterns.The history of Tujia brocade can be traced back to the ancient Ba people 4000 years ago."Langan fine cloth" recorded in the Book of the Later Han Dynasty is the predecessor of modern Tujia brocade,and "Xilankapu" is the Chinese transliteration of Tujia brocade by modern scholars.The Xilankapu pattern came into being under the unique natural environment,religious belief and national cultural background of Tujia people’s life.The third chapter mainly studies the characteristics of Xilankapu pattern.This paper sums up three characteristics,such as rich and varied themes,warm and bright colors and simple and beautiful shapes.The fourth chapter studies the application of Xilankapu pattern in modern soft decoration design.Firstly,the meaning and principle of modern soft decoration design are interpreted.On this basis,the application of the Xilankapu pattern in furniture design,lighting design and jewelry design in modern soft decoration design is studied respectively,which provides sufficient theoretical reserve for the practice of Xilankapu pattern in soft decoration design.The fifth chapter is the author’s creative practice of graduation project,explaining the thinking and creative process of graduation project. |
