The weft insertion system is the most important mechanism in the process of air-jet loom.The airflow velocity and air consumption are the two most important characteristics of the air-jet loom,and the structure of the special-shaped reed and the main and auxiliary nozzles have a great influence on these two characteristics.On the basis of the research of scholars at home and abroad,combining the software Fluent,LabVIEW and the experimental platform of air jet loom weft insertion,the special reed and auxiliary nozzle were studied,and the conclusions of flow field characteristics and gas consumption were obtained.In this thesis,the combined flow field of main nozzle and special-shaped reed is taken as the research object,and the velocity distribution neographs and axial velocity distribution curves of the flow field are obtained by means of CFD numerical simulation method and weft insertion test bed method of air-jet loom.The results of the two methods are compared and the rationality of the numerical simulation analysis method is verified.On this basis,the influence of the existence of irregular reed clearance on the weft insertion flow field is studied,and the velocity cloud of the center section and the axial velocity distribution curve of the combined flow field are obtained by means of the numerical simulation method.The results show that the gap of the irregular reed has no effect on the combined flow field characteristics.At the same time,in order to reduce the difficulty of numerical simulation,the following researches are all based on the non-clearance special-shaped reed.In order to optimize the performance of air-jet loom,seven kinds of abnormal reeds with different upper and lower lip widths and five kinds of abnormal reeds and their installation positions were studied.Through Fluent numerical analysis,the velocity distribution nephogram and axial velocity distribution curve of the combined flow field at different distance sections were obtained,and the optimal process parameters of the air-jet loom were obtained under different air pressure.On the basis of the research,hardware is added to optimize the performance of air-jet loom.By installing a new SMC special solenoid valve instead of the original solenoid valve,and with the aid of air-jet loom weft insertion test platform to carry out experimental measurement of the two;The auxiliary nozzles with different diameters are designed and the flow is measured by means of a flowmeter.The results were analyzed and the following conclusions were drawn: 1?the new SMC special solenoid valve in the weft insertion flow field speed performance is better;2?The smaller the aperture of the auxiliary nozzle,the smaller the air consumption;With the increase of gas supply pressure,the growth rate of gas consumption decreases.
