During the storage and transportation of steel coils,anti-rust paper packaging can protect the steel coils from corrosion.At present,the packaging of steel coil anti-rust paper is most used in manual packaging and through-the-eye winding packaging.However,the efficiency of manual packaging is low,and the airtightness of the packaging cannot be guaranteed by the through-the-eye winding packaging.The realization of efficient and reliable automatic packaging of steel coil anti-rust paper is an urgent need of the steel industry.In response to the above-mentioned needs,the thesis carried out research on the automatic packaging design of anti-rust paper for the outer ring of steel coils and forming simulation and proposed a complete machine design scheme of the automatic folding and packaging machine for anti-rust paper on outer ring of steel coil,which could improve the quality of the packaging and extend the storage and transportation time of the steel coils.In response to this demand,the paper proposes a complete machine design scheme that can extend the storage and transportation time of steel coils.The research results of the thesis have important practical application value in the field of steel coil packaging.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1)Firstly,the actual working conditions and action requirements of the anti-rust paper packaging of the steel coil outer ring were analyzed,the fan-shaped wrinkle folding mechanism scheme and the connecting rod wrinkle folding mechanism scheme are proposed from the mechanical structure.Through comparison,the connecting rod wrinkle folding mechanism scheme is determined as the overall scheme of the automatic folding and packaging machine for anti-rust paper on outer ring of steel coil.The machine is composed of a wrinkle folding mechanism and a compaction mechanism,and is used as an executive part of an industrial manipulator to realize the automatic folding and packaging of anti-rust paper on the outer ring of steel coils.On this basis,the overall design of the control system of the automatic folding and packaging machine is carried out.2)According to the proposed overall design plan of the automatic folding and packaging machine,detailed design of the wrinkle folding mechanism and compaction mechanism,including the selection of driving mode,selection calculation,etc.Among them,the wrinkle folding mechanism is divided into an execution system,a transmission system,and a driving system.The compaction mechanism is composed of a compaction wheel,a servo motor,and a ball screw.The wrinkle folding mechanism drives the semi-circular ring slider through the servo motor and the ball screw in the drive system,and then drives the linkage mechanism in the transmission system.The forming pressing plate in the execution system cooperates with the arc-shaped supporting plate to fold out the mountain-shaped folds of the anti-rust paper,and press the folds flat on the end surface of the steel coil.The compaction mechanism drives the compaction wheel through the servo motor and the ball screw to compact the anti-rust paper at the winding eye.On this basis,a three-dimensional model of the automatic folding and packaging machine was established in Solid Works software,and static simulation was carried out based on the Workbench software,and the strength and rigidity of the automatic folding and packaging machine was analyzed.3)Based on ABAQUS finite element software,the fold forming process and fold smoothing process of anti-rust paper are simulated,the influence of the anti-rust paper material and the diameter of the outer ring of the steel coil on the forming effect of the antirust paper is analyzed.First,establish a three-dimensional model of the formation and smoothing of the mountain-shaped folds of the anti-rust paper on the outer ring of the steel coil in the Solid Works software.In the three-dimensional models,the automatic folding and packaging machine is simplified,and the forming pressing plate and the arc supporting plate that are in contact with the anti-rust paper are retained.Then,the three-dimensional model is imported into the ABAQUS software to construct a simulation model through preprocessing.According to the actual working conditions,the speed load is applied to the forming pressing plate and the arc supporting plate,the movement time is set through the analysis step,and the different grid sizes are simulated to determine the approximate global size of the rust-proof paper finite element grid.Finally,the simulation model is solved.According to the simulation results,it is determined that the automatic folding and packaging machine can fold the anti-rust paper out of mountain-shaped folds and flatten the mountain-shaped folds on the end surface of the steel coil under the premise of ensuring that the anti-rust paper does not break.4)Analyze the control function requirements of the automatic folding and packaging machine and design the overall plan of its control system.A PC is used as the host computer to control the steering gear,servo motor and manipulator,the model of some hardware of the control system is determined,and some wiring and control procedures are designed.
