Ramie is a unique plant in China,also known as "Chinese grass".As a renewable resource,ramie fiber material has excellent characteristics that traditional chemical fiber materials are difficult to achieve,such as green environmental protection and biodegradability.Ramie fiber material has a wide range of uses,but there are the following defects in its processing and application: Ramie traditional degumming process has high energy consumption,high cost and serious pollution;Ramie fiber has high crystallinity and compact fiber structure,which leads to difficult dyeing and easy environmental pollution;Ramie fabric has some problems,such as poor elasticity and softness,strong itching and so on.These defects lead to great restrictions on the application scope and industrial development of ramie fiber materials.Based on the mature technology of heat treatment,this paper studies the treatment of ramie fiber materials.Taking raw ramie,ramie yarn and ramie fabric(summer cloth)as research samples,the research is mainly carried out from the following three aspects: first,the application of heat treatment in atmospheric pressure chemical degumming process is studied to reduce or replace the application of chemical reagents such as acid and alkali in traditional chemical degumming process,so as to improve production efficiency and economic benefits;The second is to explore the application feasibility of heat treatment in ramie yarn coloring process,and develop a method with low pollution,low energy consumption,low price and can help ramie yarn coloring successfully;The third is to clarify the finishing effect of heat treatment process on summer cloth,improve the wearability of ramie fabric and further improve its application prospect.In this paper,the traditional chemical degumming and preheating degumming are used as the comparison of the degumming process of ramie raw fiber.The effects of heat treatment process,heat treatment temperature and sodium hydroxide concentration on the structure and properties of lean ramie fiber are tested and analyzed.The results show that the application of heat treatment in ramie degumming process is feasible.The optimal process of heat treatment degumming is dry and hot air,treatment temperature 130?,treatment time 1 h and secondary alkali liquor concentration 10%.Compared with the traditional degumming process,the effect of other preheating treatment degumming processes is poor,while the optimal process preheating treatment can successfully reduce or replace the application of chemical reagents such as acid and alkali in the traditional chemical degumming process,reduce the consumption of alkali liquor by 33.4%,reduce the pollution of scouring waste liquid to the environment,and improve the production efficiency and economic benefits.The optimum process can significantly improve the properties of the dried ramie and reduce the damage to the fiber at the same time.The residual rubber rate of the dried ramie basically reaches the first-class standard,the linear density is significantly reduced,and the mechanical properties are significantly improved.It can be used to spin high count yarn and produce high-quality ramie fiber products.At the same time,the effects of different heat treatment processes,heat treatment temperature and time on the structure and properties of two different specifications of ramie yarn are studied.It is found that heat treatment can successfully color ramie yarn.The yarn obtained under different conditions presents light yellow,yellow and brown yellow,which can be adjusted by controlling treatment time and temperature.The color fastness of ramie increases with the increase of temperature and heat treatment time.The optimum process of heat treatment coloring is: under the condition of humid and hot air,the treatment temperature is 190? and the treatment time is 20 min.This heat treatment process can color the yarn and effectively improve the hairiness of the yarn,and the ramie yarn maintains stable wearability and can meet the production requirements.The process has low pollution and requires less water resources,which makes it possible to color ramie yarn in water shortage areas.The method of heat treatment coloring of ramie yarn has great potential in the field of textile.Finally,the changes of structure and properties of pure ramie fabric(summer cloth)under different heat treatment conditions were studied.The results show that the optimum process of heat treatment of summer cloth is: under the condition of humid and hot air,the treatment temperature is 160? and the treatment time is 10 min.This heat treatment process can achieve better finishing effect without affecting the normal wearing performance of summer cloth,help to reduce the gum and impurities in summer cloth,and improve the air permeability and softness of summer cloth.It is beneficial to further develop and utilize ramie fiber,broaden its application field and improve the competitiveness of ramie fabric in the market.
