Toosendanin(TSN)was extracted from Melia toosendan Sieb.Et Zucc and Melia azedarach.L of the bark and fruit.Itwas used for digestive tract parasiticide and agricultural insecticide for more than 2000 years in China.The research on the extraction and separation of TSN beginning of 1953,and had made great progress in medical.Agricultural research beginning in the 80 s of last century,a systematic study was conducted on the mode of action and toxicology of TSN,and 0.5%of the EC was successfully developed.However,because of the too single formulation form,poor stability,unstable control effect in the field and the environmental impact of the neem preparation,application of this kind of preparation had been restricted.In view of the present research situation,it is necessary to reform the formula.The primary task was to screen the ideal additives in many additives,and hope to improve the penetration of the target and plant through proper additives.Therefore,in order to further the development of toosendanin preparation is necessary to carry out the system of adjuvant hormone penetration of TSN,to obtain ideal from the agent,in order to develop a new product,the results of the study are as follows.1.Systematic screening of 9 common solvents,results of toosendanin throughleaves and insect cuticle was the best effect of methyl oleate and each solvent of toosendanin on cabbage penetration ratio than pakchoi.On cabbage,pakchoi penetration rate were 85.49%,55.78%after 24 h,and on armyworm were 58.41%after 4 h.Study on biological activity of 3 instar larvae of armyworm containing 1%solvent toosendanin by topical application were found containing methyl oleate toosendanin against poison and antifeedant activity was the highest,antifeedant and mortality rate were 85%and 85.20%after 6 h,respectively.The content of solvent could affect the penetrability of leaves and insect cuticle.Solvent content varyfrom0.0 to 0.5%,the penetration ratio increases gradually with the increase of the conten.When the solvent content vary from 0.5%to 1%,the penetration rate was slowly improving or tending to balance.2.Systematic screening of 7 penetrant,results of toosendanin through plant leaves and insect cuticle ideal effect were silicone 408 and azone,and each agent of toosendanin in cabbage penetration ratio than pakchoi.Silicone of 408 of toosendanin on cabbage and pakchoi penetration rate were 50.37%and 35.45%after 24 h,and on the armyworm was 32.28%after 4 h,azone of toosendanin on cabbage and pakchoi penetration rate were 43.26%and 27.62%after 24 h,and on the My thimna separata was 25.54%after 4 h.Study on biological activity of 3 instar larvae of My thimna separata containing 0.1%penetrating agents toosendanin by topical application were found containing silicone 408 toosendanin against poison and antifeedant activity was the highest,antifeedant and mortality rate were 50.00%and 35.46%after 6 h.The second is azone,antifeedant and mortality rate were 45.67%and 28.78%after 6 h The content of penetrating agents could affect the penetrability of plant leaves and insect cuticle.Penetrating agentsvary from 0.0 to 0.06%,and the penetration ratio increases gradually with the increase of the conten.When the penetrating agents content vary from 0.06%to 0.1%,and the penetration rate was slowly improving or tending to balance.3.The effect of additives on the penetration of leaves and insect cuticle,select a kind of ideal solvent was methyl oleate,an ideal formula penetrating agent were azone and synergistic spray agent of silicone 408.The formula is 2%toosendanin,5%ethyl acetate,10%azone,10%ethanol,5%500#,2.4%BY-140,2.6%NP-4 and 63%methyl oleate.Forplutella xylostella,Aphis citricola van der Goot,and My thimna separata as test insects for biological activity test,the results showed that was significant differencesbetwen traditional EC.Environmental protection ECand added with organosilicon 408 with a LC50 value of 43.06,31.46 mg/L after 24 h against Aphis citricola van der Goot,with a LC50 value of 63.64,50.07 mg/L after 48 h against plutella xylostella,and with a LC50 value of 170.01,142.83,mg/L after 48 h against My thimna separata.A.I was 25.65 g/hm2,the control efficacy of 1,3 and 7 d against Aphis citricola van der Goot were 65.16%,78.07%and 82.92%,respectively.Added with organosilicon 408 the control efficacy of 1,3,7 d against Aphis citricola van der Goot were 78.14%,89.14%,91.48%,respectively.
