| In recent years, construction dust has become one of the major contributors of urban particulate pollution in China, which poses a great threat to urban atmospheric environment and human health.China has been implementing the control of construction dust for about 20 years, but it has not become a system until nearly five years. With the rapid development of urban construction, there are many construction sites in China, which aggravate the air pollution caused by construction dust, and the extensive dust control method needs to be improved. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to explore the diffusion of construction dust, and the influence of construction dust diffusion on surrounding atmospheric environment and human health under different conditions. And then provide reference for improving construction dust control system based on environment and health,so as to realize more effective control of urban atmospheric environment pollution, and protect the health of construction workers and urban residents. This study summarizes the dust produced in each construction stage, and then Computational Fluid Dynamics method and dynamic mesh are used to simulate and analyze the construction dust diffusion in specific construction process, based on the actual construction site—Wuyuanwan subway station in Xiamen. The United States Environmental Protection Agency health risk assessment model and the construction health quantitative assessment system are adopted to evaluate the damage of workers’health in the construction site. After the study of the dust diffusion in a single construction site, the Computational Fluid Dynamics method is used to study the dust diffusion in a city block, based on the actual buildings in Xiamen. The results are compared with the environmental quality to preliminarily explored the influence of multi-condition urban construction on the atmospheric environment. The air pollution health damage based on pathology is adopted to measure the economic loss of surrounding residents’ health damage and the society. The results show that the dust in earthmoving vehicles exists in high concentration for a short time, and the health effects of dust on workers are different in in different working areas. In the urban block, the construction dust has different diffusion rules in the urban area according to the form of urban buildings, the number and location of different construction sites.According to the simulation results, the current situation of construction dust management in China is sorted out,and suggestions are put forward on the regulation of emission limits and the collection of environmental protection tax for construction dust.In this study, the construction dust diffusion is dynamically simulated in a single actual construction site, and the general situation of different construction sites in a city block, which intuitively reveals the process of construction dust diffusion. The quantitative method of health risk assessment is practiced to quantitatively evaluate the health impact based on the simulation results of dust diffusion, which provides a theoretical basis for the control of dust air pollution in urban construction sites. The health suggestions put up in this paper have direct practical significance. |
