Since China’s reform and opening up,the speed of economic development has increased day by day,and the road to the rise of a great power has begun.However,at the same time that the economic strength has rapidly increased,it has also caused great harm to the ecological environment.People began to realize that economic development can no longer be as traditional as the previous model.At the same time,it has achieved economic benefits and destroyed the ecological environment.Seeking harmony between man and nature is the road to sustainable development.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China has clearly pointed out that to adhere to the harmonious coexistence of man and nature,we must not only deeply implant the idea of "green water and green mountains as the golden mountains and silver mountains" into our thoughts,but also do our best to protect the natural environment and prevent waste of resources.Regardless of social production or people’s lives,we must adhere to the green and clean path,adhere to sustainable development,and actively create an ecological civilization.To build a green and harmonious society,technological innovation is the key factor.Studying the quantitative relationship between technological innovation and ecological efficiency is of great significance to the green economy.In order to study the impact of scientific and technological innovation on ecological efficiency,this paper first builds a scientific and technological innovation evaluation index system,using entropy method to measure and comprehensively analyze the technological innovation level of 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China from 2008 to 2017;then Create an ecological efficiency index system,use the super-efficiency DEA model to measure and comprehensively analyze the ecological efficiency of the above areas.Because the size and trend of the impact of technological innovation on ecological efficiency may vary with the level of ecological efficiency,this paper selects three control variables such as industrial structure,economic development level,and government intervention to establish a fixed-effect panel quantile regression model,Through empirical research to explore the impact of technological innovation on ecological efficiency.The study found that the improvement of scientific and technological innovation is conducive to the improvement of ecological efficiency,especially in the case of low ecological efficiency,scientific and technological innovation has a greater degree of promotion of ecological efficiency.As the value of eco-efficiency increases,the positive impact of technological innovation on eco-efficiency has weakened,but the overall fluctuation of this effect is small.In addition,the level of economic development,industrial structure and government intervention also have a positive impact on ecological efficiency.From the perspective of strengthening scientific and technological innovation,this article proposes the following policy recommendations for improving China’s ecological efficiency: First,increase R&D investment and strengthen capital supervision;Second,balance the allocation of scientific and technological resources;Third,promote the integration of technology and the market,accelerate the transformation of results,and create The scientific and technological innovation incubation base will give full play to the positive impact of technological innovation on ecological efficiency and promote the high-quality development of the Chinese economy. |
