Study On The Impact Of Economic Density Changes On Environmental Pollution In Yunnan Province

In the context of the rapid economic development of the country,Yunnans economic development has also made impressive achievements.While the economic construction of Yunnan Province is constantly advancing,environmental protection issues are also facing tremendous pressure.Regarding the dilemma between economic development and environmental protection,many economists have done a lot of research,and the environmental Kuznets curve is one of the more influential results in many studies.In the context of the current new era,Yunnan urgently needs to explore a development path that simultaneously improves economic and environmental benefits.Previous studies on economic development and environmental pollution have mostly measured the level of economic development in terms of GDP per capita or total GDP.From the perspective of economic density,there are not many studies on the impact of economic development on environmental pollution.Study the impact of economic development in Yunnan Province on environmental pollution.Based on the environmental Kuznets curve theory,this paper takes Yunnan Province as the research object,and analyzes the impact of economic density changes on environmental pollution in Yunnan Province.In this paper,land economic density is used to measure the economic density.In order to avoid the influence of the differences in the national territory of each administrative jurisdiction,the industrial economic density is calculated not by the land area but by the built-up area.The first step is to construct an appropriate comprehensive index of environmental pollution.This article selects the industrial“three wastes”indicators of Yunnan Province from 2008 to 2017:industrial waste gas discharge,industrial wastewater discharge and industrial solid waste discharge as single pollution indicators,and then passes the entropy method Construct comprehensive indicators of environmental pollution;in terms of economic density measurement indicators,as industrial"three waste"are the products of cities and are less related to the primary industry,this paper mainly uses the data of the secondary and tertiary industries to discuss the changes in economic density.The impact of environmental pollution.Regarding the selection of models,this article mainly refers to the classic model of environmental Kuznets curve.The set model is:Y_it=α_it+β₁X_it+β₂X_it²+β₃Z_it+u_it,then from the overall situation of Yunnan Province and 16 prefectures.Regression analysis research.After the study,the following findings were obtained:（1）The change relationship between the economic density of the secondary industry in Yunnan Province and the environmental pollution index conforms to the inverted U-shaped change relationship,which is consistent with theoretical expectations;（2）The economic density of the third industry in Yunnan Province and the environmental pollution index The relationship between the changes is a monotonically increasing relationship;（3）In the analysis of 16prefectures,the economic density of the secondary industry and the changes in environmental pollution conform to the inverted U shape in Honghe Prefecture,Xishuangbanna,Dali Prefecture,and Lincang City;Dehongzhou,Xishuangbanna,Honghe Prefecture,Lijiang City,Baoshan City,and Zhaotong City,where the relationship between the economic density of the three industries and the changes in environmental pollution conform to the inverted U shape,are the first to increase the economic density of the secondary industry in Yunnan Province.After the promotion and reaching the inflection point,it begins to inhibit.At present,Yunnan Province is in the stage of gradually improving the environmental pollution situation with the increase of the economic density of the secondary industry;（5）The increase in the economic density of the tertiary industry in Yunnan Province has caused environmental pollution.To the deteriorating effect,no inflection point was found to change the effect.According to the research conclusions of this paper,the following main suggestions are proposed:strengthen the construction of industrial parks and give play to the positive effect of the increase in the economic density of the secondary industry on the improvement of environmental pollution;transform the development model of the tertiary industry and improve the adverse effects of the increase in the economic density of the tertiary industry on environmental pollution Influencing the role;setting appropriate thresholds for ecological access to promote the actual development of various states in Yunnan Province based on their own characteristics.
