As an important aspect of ecological environment governance,water environment governance is very important to promote the construction of ecological civilization.After more than 30 years of governance in the water environment of the Erhai Lake Basin,the water quality has indeed improved to a certain extent.However,from the perspective of long-term development,the turning point for the overall improvement of water quality has not yet appeared,and the water environment management of the river basin still faces a series of challenges.In recent years,with the deteriorating water quality of Erhai Lake,the water environment management of the Erhai Lake Basin has received great attention from governments at all levels.Especially after 2015,the river basin government has kept its orders and firmly implemented various policies and policies to start a new era of water environment governance in the Erhai Lake Basin.Based on the relevant research on water environment governance at home and abroad,this article analyzes and discusses the practical dilemma of the water environment governance in the Erhai Lake Basin from the reality of the water environment governance in the Erhai Lake Basin.The key influencing factors of water environment management.Taking the multi-center governance theory as the analysis framework,the deficiencies and constraints of each subject participating in the water environment governance of the Erhai Lake Basin are elaborated,and corresponding optimization suggestions are proposed.Try to break through the bottleneck of water environment governance in the Erhai Lake Basin from the roots and build a government-led,multi-center collaborative water governance model of the Erhai Lake Basin with the participation of the market,society,and the public.Class II water treatment objectives.
