In order to ensure the stability and long-term success of the “Belt and Ro ad” initiative,we must not ignore the “traditional forces” type non-traditional ri sks represented by the ecological environment.Faced with the objective natural elements hindered by the complex geographical environment along the “Belt a nd Road” initiative for the flow of people and logistics,faced with the tension between the economic development desire and limited ecological carrying capa city in the late-developing regions,With the impact of homogeneous competitio n from large foreign countries,the continuous promotion of the “Belt and Roa d” initiative needs to explore mature and feasible green governance paths,and form a governance body that can “open source”,a governance process that is“sustainable”,a governance method that is “multiple”,and a governance object A broad-based green governance system that is "symbiotic" and "shareable" in governance results to form a green governance support for prevention of ecol ogical and environmental risks.This is not only an important part of China’s p rogress in modernizing its national governance capacity and governance system,but it can also enhance China’s international influence.The Greater Mekong Sub-region,which is at the joint point of the “Belt and Road” initiative,has both land and sea geographical locations,outstanding water governance requirements in the ecological environment field,and high att ention from large foreign countries.It is a typical area worth exploring for gre en governance paths.In response to the urgent ecological and environmental pr oblems faced by the Greater Mekong Subregion,before the Belt and Road Init iative was launched,China carried out hydrological data sharing,multilateral dialogue and consultation,and ecological governance contributions with surroundi ng countries through various mechanisms.Green governance practices.Based o n the rich ecological environment governance practices of the Greater Mekong Sub-region,China needs to rely on relevant governance experience to lead con sensus on prevention of ecological environment risks,build effective mechanis ms for regional governance,share experience in green poverty alleviation,and explore new models of green cooperation to form a system of ecological preve ntion.The green governance path of environmental risks further deepens the "F ive Links" initiative of the "Belt and Road" initiative to better implement.
