With the opening of new China,while people enjoy a happy life,China’s environmental pollution is becoming increasingly serious.In particular,the pollution caused by the logistics industry is worthy of attention.The logistics enterprises have been considered as high pollution enterprises by the majority of scholars,and the environmental pollution caused by the logistics industry is becoming more and more serious.Green logistics refers to the modern logistics with the lowest carbon emission all over the world.Logistics enterprises have caused serious impact on environmental pollution in the process of transportation.However,the concept of green logistics in China has not been thoroughly implemented.Low carbon logistics refers to the whole logistics process with the lowest carbon emission all over the world,Low carbon logistics is one of the core issues to guide the coordinated development of China’s logistics enterprises and the external environment.With the increase of natural environmental problems and limited resources,the need for more rational use of natural resources is becoming more and more urgent.Therefore,it is a very important milestone for the development to seek the economic model.From the perspective of enterprises,bringing economic effect to enterprises is more conducive to the long-term development of enterprises,which can benefit enterprises a lot.Low carbon logistics is a new requirement for the development of modern logistics industry.With the progress of the times and environmental protection,the government usually controls the pollution of logistics enterprises,and generally adopts the means of environmental regulation to reduce the environmental pollution of logistics enterprises.This paper analyzes the impact of environmental regulation on carbon emissions of logistics enterprises on the theoretical basis,and finally provides ways to promote the green transformation of logistics enterprises and reasonable suggestions for emission reduction according to the empirical results.This paper mainly studies the impact of environmental regulation on the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises based on panel industry data of logistics industry in China.The first point of innovation is to study the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises from the perspective of environmental regulation.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have conducted extensive research on the impact of environmental regulation on manufacturing efficiency,However,the impact of environmental regulation on the efficiency of carbon emission in logistics industry is rarely mentioned.The second point is to innovate the method,most of the efficiency models adopt traditional efficiency models,but there are some defects in these models,that is,the relaxation variables are not considered.In this paper,the relaxation variables are taken into consideration.The carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises can be calculated more accurately by using super efficiency SBM model.Therefore,this paper uses the data of logistics enterprises in China from 2006 to 2016,and uses the super efficiency SBM model to calculate the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises in China,and further analyzes the results of carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises in each province.Then,the paper uses the threshold panel regression model to study the effect of different environmental regulation tools on the efficiency of carbon emission of logistics enterprises.The results show that the influence of the command type environmental regulation tool and stimulation type environmental regulation tool on the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises passes a single threshold effect at 10%,showing the U-curve relationship,which shows the effect of inhibition first and then promotion;In addition,the analysis from the perspective of control variables shows that: under the significant level of 5%,the level of economic impact on the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises,and the urbanization level has a positive impact on the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises at a significant level of 5%,and technological innovation has a positive impact on the carbon emission efficiency of logistics enterprises at a significant level of 5%.
