In the past ten years,the population of "empty-nest youth" has grown increasingly large.Forecasts indicate that the number of "empty-nest youth" will reach nearly 100 million in 2021,and this number is still growing.The eating habits of the "empty-nest youth" group are significantly different from those of the previous generation.Most of them eat quickly through unhealthy diets such as simple meals.In response to this social phenomenon,this study takes the eating pattern of the"empty-nest youth" group as The research object explores the design of kitchen utensils for "Empty-Nest Youth" and develops the concept of healthy eating for the target users.Based on field research,the "Empty Nest Youth" kitchen utensils found the problems of users’diet and cooking,such as sub-healthy diet,lack of cooking experience,and poor cooking experience.Starting from tableware,cooking utensils and online mini programs,The user provides a smooth cooking experience to improve the user’s sub-healthy diet.According to the feedback of "Empty-Nest Youth" users on kitchen operation expectations,this research conducted a detailed analysis of kitchen operation fluency,healthy diet requirements,and measurement requirements.Based on user research,user modeling of "Empty Nest Youth" is carried out from the kitchen work process,user cooking experience and user journey graph.Integrating the use of "Empty Nest Youth" users,evaluating existing products on the market,and designing correspondingly sized kitchen utensils and quantified kitchen products based on the characteristics of the "Empty Nest Youth" eating for one person.To study the commonalities of interactive behaviors and the dissimilarities of wrong dietary decisions between "empty-nest youth" users and kitchen utensils.After combing and summarizing the status quo of the user population,psychological characteristics,and dietary needs,we investigated the current diet status of"empty-nest youth" users who lack cooking experience or even no cooking skills,and plan for health concepts,and identify opportunities to use health and quantification.,Convenience and fashion design elements are used as the design strategy of "Empty Nest Youth" dining and kitchen utensils service system.Finally,optimize the user’s touch points during kitchen work to construct a blueprint for the "empty nest youth" kitchen utensils service design.Starting from the hardware products and software products of the service system,perfect the "empty nest youth" kitchen utensils service design plan,the hardware product design plan and the software online interactive mini program design plan,and assist the "empty nest youth" group to achieve healthy eating decisions behavior.
