Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,in the face of severe domestic and international pressures on the ecological environment,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has been standing at the height of the historical evolution of human civilization in order to contain the deteriorating momentum of the ecological environment in our country.With his passion for people’s livelihood and broad and broad global vision,he put forward a series of new ideas,new judgments,and new measures on the construction of ecological civilization,and formed Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought with rich connotation,profound thinking and rigorous logic.The extreme importance and urgency of civilization construction.Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought is based on Marx and Engels’ ecological civilization thought,and is based on the construction of socialist ecological civilization with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It is a scientific theory that has been tested in the practice of ecological civilization construction from regional to national scale.It is a scientific guide for the construction of my country’s ecological civilization in the new era.On the basis of carefully combing the existing research results of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought in academic circles,this paper attempts to conduct a holistic study from the internal logic of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought to specific practice,and through the theoretical sources,formation process,and science of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought.Carry out in-depth research on the system,theoretical value,philosophical thinking,basic characteristics,and the main problems and paths faced by Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought practice,to fully and accurately grasp the scientific system of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought,in order to realize Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thoughts on ecological civilization is to accurately grasp its theoretical sources.This chapter discusses the ecological civilization thoughts of Marx and Engels,the Chinese Marxist ecological civilization thoughts,the wisdom of ecological civilization in traditional Chinese culture,and the western ecological civilization thoughts,thus fully revealing the theoretical sources of the formation of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thoughts.On this basis,taking the various stages of Xi Jinping’s political career and major historical events as the dividing point,the formation process of Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought is divided into three stages:budding,development,and maturity.The second chapter is about the scientific system and theoretical value of Xi
