| Various production activities of human beings are the main sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Most scientists and governments believe that greenhouse gases have brought significant adverse effects on human survival and sustainable development.Among them, carbon emissions caused by agricultural land utilization activities have attracted more and more attention from the society. It has become a widely concerned issue in many fields such as scientific research, social production and economic activities, and the implementation of carbon emission reduction in the field of agricultural land use has become a consensus of academia and governments of all countries.During the 75 th Session of the UN General Assembly in 2020,China proposed to peak its carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and strive to be "carbon neutral" by 2060.Later,at the Climate Ambition Summit,China further announced that by2030,China’s carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP would be cut by more than 65% from 2005 levels.Promoting the use of agricultural land to reduce carbon emissions is an important measure to achieve China’s emission reduction targets. Therefore, based on the perspective of environmental economics and starting from the current situation of natural resources of agricultural land in China, this paper selected six types of carbon sources, including chemical fertilizer, agricultural film, diesel oil, pesticide, tillage and effective irrigation.Through the calculation formula of carbon emissions from agricultural land utilization,The current situation of carbon emissions from agricultural land use in different provinces, cities and states in China from 1999 to 2018 and 2018 was measured and analyzed from time and space dimensions. Finally, based on the decoupling elasticity model of carbon emissions from agricultural land use, this paper discussed and analyzed the types of decoupling elasticity between the change of carbon emissions from agricultural land use and the development of agricultural economy in different provinces and cities in China from1999 to 2018 and in 2018 from vertical and horizontal dimensions. The results show that the total carbon emissions from agricultural land use in China are on the rise, and the total carbon emissions show a trend of "increasing first and then decreasing".Among all kinds of carbon sources, agricultural chemical fertilizer leads to a particularly significant increase in carbon emissions from agricultural land use.Henan Province has the highest carbon emissions from agricultural land use, while Tibet Autonomous Region has the lowest. The main types of decoupling in China are weak decoupling, strong negative decoupling and strong decoupling. This shows that when agricultural economy is developing in a positive direction, carbon emissions are also developing in a positive direction, but the growth rate of carbon emissions from agricultural land utilization is significantly slower than that of agricultural economy. In the elastic analysis of spatial decoupling of carbon emissions from agricultural land use,Tianjin,Anhui,Hainan,Hubei and Yunnan provinces have a relatively ideal relationship with agricultural economic development, while Jilin and Xinjiang have the least ideal relationship, and their carbon emissions from agricultural land use do not decrease but increase.Based on the above analysis conclusions, the corresponding policy suggestions for energy conservation and emission reduction in China’s agricultural land are put forward.First, policy constraints or incentive measures should be adopted to promote carbon emission reduction in agricultural land utilization.Second, research and promotion of agricultural innovation technology, improve the use of agricultural land to reduce agricultural carbon emissions.Third,we will strengthen the construction of high-quality and practical agricultural science and technology personnel.Fourth, strengthen publicity efforts,do a good job of agricultural land "energy saving and consumption reduction, low carbon emission reduction, ecological environmental protection" concept publicity activities.Fifth, increase investment in agricultural land emission reduction to provide basic support for agricultural land utilization carbon emission reduction.Sixth,we will improve the system of laws and regulations on carbon emission reduction in agricultural land use. |
