The Application Of Traditional Han Embroidery Technology In Modern Men’s Wear Design

As one of the traditional Chinese embroidery crafts,Han Embroidery represents the characteristics of Chinese traditional crafts over five thousand years.Because of its unique craft techniques and artistic aesthetic value,Han Embroidery was approved by the State Council to be listed in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage in June 2008.It not only has a long historical and cultural roots,but also is a representative traditional handcraft.Nowadays,the survival status of traditional handicrafts is thought-provoking.How to maintain its own artistic characteristics while continuing to innovate and develop has become an urgent problem to be solved.In the face of the call of The Times,while protecting traditional handicrafts,the derivative products produced by combining modern design with traditional skills are just a form of innovation.The practice of this topic is based on the modern aesthetic concept of fashion design,into the artistic characteristics of Han embroidery refinement and innovation,highlight its cultural attributes,excavate the artistic value and social value of Han embroidery craft,combined with the relevant theories and achievements of cultural heritage protection to develop a modern men’s wear originated from the tradition but higher than the tradition.On the basis of collecting graphic materials and summarizing practical experience,this paper adopts literature analysis method,field investigation method,object observation method and case analysis method to conduct a systematic study on the application of Han embroidery technology in modern men’s wear design.This paper is divided into six parts:The first chapter is the introduction.Firstly,it introduces the research background,purpose and significance of this topic,as well as the definition of relevant concepts.Then,it elaborates the innovation points and difficulties of this topic on the basis of analyzing the current research situation and development trend at home and abroad.The second chapter mainly starts with the pattern modeling,color expression and craft techniques of Han embroidery,and summarizes the artistic characteristics of Han embroidery according to the collection and research of literature,pictures and materials.The third chapter is based on the actual cases of embroidery in modern men’s wear design at home and abroad,comparing and analyzing its application principles.The fourth chapter summarizes the application principles and methods of how to integrate Han embroidery technology into modern men’s wear design reasonably.The fifth chapter,based on the above research results and past practical experience,completes the design of a series of men’s wear through the innovative design practice of Han embroidery technology.The sixth chapter is the summary of the whole research process,and put forward the shortcomings and prospects of this research.This paper combines the theoretical research of Han embroidery with practical design,excavates its cultural essence and applies it to modern men’s wear products.On the one hand,the culture and artistic characteristics of Han embroidery are summarized and analyzed to make possible supplement for the existing theoretical research.On the other hand,the application methods of Han Embroidery are explored and the design practices are carried out to provide some references for the development of related derivatives of Han Embroidery.
