| In modern industrial production,the occasions of conveying various viscous liquid is expanding.Gear pump has the advantages of simple structure,pollution resistance,good suction performance in transporting high viscosity,it has become an ideal equipment for conveying high viscosity liquid,and its application range is wide.However,due to the poor fluidity of high viscosity liquid,large resistance of transportation,and often accompany high temperature,abrasion and other problems,seeking ways to improve the performance of high viscosity gear pump and prolong its working life of the effective method is increasingly attracted attention.For this reason,this paper uses a common high viscosity external gear pump as an example,studying its structure characteristics,instantaneous export flow,internal leakage problems,basing on the CFD technology to analyze working condition which influence the working performance of high viscosity gear pump and get the trend diagram which describe the main parameters of high viscosity gear pump performance,using Matlab software to optimize and theoretical calculation,which get the optimum parameters of the high viscosity gear pump.The main work of this paper is presented as follows:1)On the basis of description and analysis of the development status of domestic and abroad high viscosity gear pump,clarifying the research direction of this subject.2)Introducing principle and composition of the high viscosity gear pump are,and the material selection of the parts of the high viscosity gear pump,the transportation of the high viscosity medium and the heating method are analyzed.According to the viscosity of the medium,the inlet and outlet size of the high viscosity gear pump is innovatively designed.Choosing the minimum volume as the optimization goal,the parameters of the high viscosity gear pump are optimized by using Matlab software.3)Calculating the instantaneous outlet flow and flow quality of the high viscosity gear pump theoretically.we find that the performance of the pump can be seen by monitoring the instantaneous outlet flow.To monitor instantaneous export flow,we can use Fluent software.Firstly,CFD technique are introduced,and then on the basis of the optimized parameters of high viscosity gear pump,using UG software to model and calculate simplified internal flow field of high viscosity gear pump,analyzing cloud of flow field under different working conditions.Through monitoring instantaneous outlet flow in Fluent,we can get line chart of instantaneous outlet flow under different working conditions,from the line chart we can get the size of leakage which provide the basis for the analysis of the performance of the high viscosity gear pump.4)Based on the analysis of volumetric efficiency loss and mechanical efficiency loss of high viscosity gear pump,it is found that radial clearance and axial clearance are important factors which affect the performance of high viscosity gear pump.The optimum axial clearance and radial clearance were obtained by leakage formula and viscosity formula,and the reasonable clearance values for conveying medium with different viscosity were determined by orthogonal test method.Analyzing the influence of working parameters on the volumetric efficiency of high viscosity gear pump,and the best value range of the working parameters is determined. |
