Compared with a series of achievements made by our government in economic growth in recent years,the effective supply of environmental public services and environmental public goods is relatively weak.The regional environmental governance itself has the characteristics of externality and relevance,so the coordinated development of regional environmental governance can promote the performance of environmental efficiency.Because of the above background,firstly,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of environmental efficiency calculates the environmental efficiency of 30 provinces in China from 2000 to 2018 by using Super-SBM model,based on the existing literature research.Secondly,the spatial correlation network of environmental efficiency is constructed through Grey Relational Analysis,and then Social Network Analysis is used to explore the structural characteristics of the spatial correlation network of environmental efficiency.Finally,this paper investigates the differences of influencing factors of environmental efficiency network in different regions through empirical analysis.This paper puts forward policy suggestions from the perspective of spatial association network,network structure characteristics and key influencing factors.Through the analysis of the article,the main conclusions are as follows:First,in terms of measuring the environmental efficiency,from the provincial level,the overall environmental efficiency of China’s provinces and cities has a fluctuating growth trend but the growth rate is slower.There is a significant gap in environmental efficiency between the three major regions of East,Central and West.As time goes by,the gap in environmental efficiency between regions is gradually narrowing,and there is still great potential for environmental efficiency in most provinces.Secondly,as far as the structural characteristics of spatial correlation network are concerned,the correlation network of China’s overall environmental efficiency presents a typical complex network form,and the network structure tends to be stable.The overall network characteristics show that the network in the central region is more relevant,the cohesion of the network in the eastern region is relatively small,and the stability of the network in the western region needs to be further improved.From the perspective of time evolution,as time goes by,the hierarchical structure of environmental efficiency network is more and more obvious,the network cohesion is gradually enhanced,and the network robustness needs to be strengthened in China.The characteristics of individual network show that the degree centrality of most central provinces is relatively high,and they are in the central position in the network.The degree centrality of Shandong,Shaanxi and Hubei is relatively high,and they play an important role of “middleman” in the spatial network of environmental efficiency,while Guangxi,Henan and other provinces are in the marginal position in the network.Third,in terms of the dimension of influencing factors,The contribution of environmental efficiency to spatial correlation network is more significant in government business relationship,economic development level,industrial structure,environmental regulation and so on.From the regional comparative analysis,the eastern region is more vulnerable to economic development factors such as the level of economic development and investment in science and technology.The central region is more vulnerable to structural factors such as industrial structure and environmental governance investment.And the western region is more vulnerable to factors such as the size of the government,the relationship between government and business.In a word,the spatial spillover of environmental efficiency may be affected by many factors.Several factors usually work together to promote the formation and development of environmental efficiency network.
