In response to the threat of environmental pollution to the lives,health and safety of the general public,strong measures by the state and local governments have restricted the development of chemical companies.However,chemical companies cannot completely disappear.Therefore,in optimizing the development of chemical companies,they need to give full play to their social responsibilities.After sorting out the theoretical basis of corporate social responsibility theory,stakeholder theory,public externality theory,and social responsibility standard SA8000,this article takes A Chemical Park as an example,and expands on the current situation analysis,existing problems,cause analysis and suggested measures.the study.This article introduces the basic situation of the performance of social responsibilities in the parks where chemical companies are located from the basic situation,organizational construction,standardized project management,key project rectification,dynamic tracking evaluation,and high-quality service system.Based on the social responsibilities specified in the social responsibility SA8000 standard,A questionnaire was formulated to conduct a comprehensive survey for ordinary people,residents around the chemical zone,and employees of enterprises in the chemical zone,to investigate the status of the chemical enterprises in the chemical zone A in fulfilling their social responsibilities.The survey results show that chemical companies’ response to public doubts needs to be further strengthened,and there is a large gap in establishing and maintaining appropriate procedures to communicate with the public.There is still room for improvement in providing reasonable information and channels for the public to verify that companies comply with standards and regulations.In terms of reducing environmental hazards,chemical companies have taken the initiative to harass the people and strengthened improvements are not satisfactory.Child labor,forced labor,health and safety,the right to organize trade unions and collective bargaining,discrimination,disciplinary measures,working hours,salary,etc.all need to be improved and optimized.Based on the analysis of the status quo of the performance of social responsibilities of chemical companies,the problems in the performance of social responsibilities of chemical companies are sorted out.The main manifestations are that the laws and standards for chemical companies to perform social responsibilities need to be improved,and the supervision and governance structure of chemical companies to perform social responsibilities need to be optimized.,The self-restraint and evaluation of chemical enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities need to be strengthened.In response to the problem,the reason is closely related to the soft environment of the chemical industry,the hard environment of the chemical park,and the self-environment of chemical companies.The specific manifestation is that the "soft" environment of the chemical industry needs to be further improved,the construction of hardware facilities in the chemical park is insufficient,and the internal structure of chemical companies in fulfilling their social responsibilities,based on the development reality of the chemical industry zone,promote chemical companies to fulfill their social responsibilities from the perspective of the "hard environment" promotion effect.Starting from the healthy development of the area where chemical companies are located,we will build a multi-channel supervision mechanism and improve the configuration of the hardware environment,so as to promote chemical companies to better fulfill their social responsibilities.Third,it is guided by the need to further strengthen the ethical construction of chemical companies in fulfilling social responsibilities,the lack of self-discipline construction of chemical companies in fulfilling social
