| With the increasingly strict control of environmental pollution in China,the demand for columnar activated carbon in industry is also increasing.In addition,due to the relative shortage of high-quality anthracite and the single type of raw coal,the production of activated carbon has great limitations.In addition,because coal tar is used in large quantities as a binder in the production process of columnar activated carbon,it has caused serious environmental pollution in production of the activated carbon and also has greater safety problems,which is contrary to the original intention of solving environmental pollution problems.There are many bituminous coals in Datong area are huge in reserves.Da Tong bituminous coals have a poor caking property,which is helpful to improve the hardness of columnar activated carbon.The coals can be used with environmentally friendly composite binders instead of traditional coal tar binders to prepare high-performance columnar activated carbons to improve the product competitiveness of activated carbon manufacturers.Therefore,based on the high-quality bituminous coal resources in Datong,this paper takes non-tar composite binders to prepare columnar activated carbon with high adsorption performance and high-hardness desulfurization denitration activated coke.The conclusions are as follows:(1)In this paper,Datong low ash bituminous coal was used as raw material.Through a series of experiments,the influence of binder formula on the performance index of columnar activated carbon was discussed,and the best compound binder formula was selected according to the results.The columnar activated carbon prepared under this condition was compared with the activated carbon prepared with coal tar binder and the performance indicators and pore structure were compared.The results show that the composite binder has good mechanical properties,and can be used to prepare bituminous coal columnar activated carbon with excellent properties.In addition,the optimum process parameters in the preparation of activated carbon were explored.The optimum technological conditions were as follows:carbonization termination temperature 700 ~oC,carbonization heating rate was 7 ~oC/min,activation temperature was 900 ~oC.The final columnar activated carbon has an iodine value of1134.9 mg/g,a methylene blue value of 213.8 mg/g,a hardness of 96.3%,a specific surface area of up to 1187.0 m~2/g,and a total pore volume of 0.665 cm~3/g,when the burnoff is 66.5%.In addition,the performance gap of the columnar activated carbon prepared within the range of the process parameters set in this article is small,and can basically meet the industrial requirements,which further indicates that the industrial conditions required to prepare the Datong bituminous coal columnar activated carbon with the composite binder are relatively loose and easy Large-scale industrial production to prepare high-performance columnar activated carbon.(2)Taking high ash bituminous coal of Datong area as the main coal,using coking coal,lean coal and other blended coal,mixed with composite binder,the desulfurization and denitrification activated carbon with excellent performance was prepared.Through the measurement and evaluation of performance indicators such as the abrasion resistance,compressive strength,and iodine number of the prepared activated coke,combined with the actual industrial production conditions,the best coal blending ratio,coal type,and the best material are selected.Optimal molding conditions and optimal process conditions.Studies have shown that the blending of lean coal is conducive to the improvement of the strength of activated coke and the further improvement of adsorption performance.The properties and amount of coking coal will have a greater impact on the adsorption performance and mechanical strength of activated coke,and the forming conditions and process conditions also have a greater impact on the performance of activated coke.The coal blending ratio is Datong 2#bituminous coal:Liulin coking coal:Taiyuan lean coal=70:30:10,forming pressure is 9 MPa,carbonization heating rate is at 7 ~oC/min,carbonization termination temperature is 650 ~oC,activation temperature is 870 ~oC The activated coke produced at this conditions has the best overall performance,with abrasion resistance greater than 97%,compressive strength close to 800 N,and at the same time the iodine number reaches more than 450 mg/g,and the ash content is less than 15%.There are 39 figures,33 tables and 103 references in this thesis. |
