Study On Effect Of Construction Group Safety Climate On Construction Worker’s Unsafe Behavior

The construction industry is the pillar industry of our national economy.The frequent safety accidents and the severe safety production situation affect social and economic benefits.The accident causation theory shows that the unsafe behavior is the main cause of the safety accidents.It is important to study the unsafe behavior of construction workers in order to restrain the incidence of safety accidents in construction industry.A lot of studies show that safety climate is an important factor influencing safety behavior.Construction group is the smallest organization for safety management of construction workers.There are few studies on the effect of safety climate on the unsafe behavior of construction group in the construction industry.Therefore,this paper explores the effect of construction group safety climate on unsafe behavior,and provides the ideas of the construction group safety climate for the construction site safety management,reduces the unsafe behavior of construction workers,and to promote the establishment of the construction site safety control system.Firstly,this paper define the construction workers’ unsafe behavior and the construction group safety climate,divided the five dimensions of construction group safety climate;According to the mechanism of behavior,the unsafe behavior motivation is put forward as a mediating variable.According to the social cognitive theory and a large number of literature analysis,put forward the hypothesis model of the main effect,the intermediary effect and the adjustment effect hypothesis model on the construction group safety climate influent the unsafe behavior.Secondly,this paper refers to the maturity scale of various fields,combined with the characteristics of construction workers to compile a questionnaire to collect data for empirical research.The main effect model and intermediary effect model were tested by structural equation model,and the adjustment effect model was tested by hierarchical regression analysis.The results show that the construction group safety climate has a significant effect on the unsafe behavior.And the unsafe behavior motivation plays a mediating role between the construction group safety climate and the unsafe behavior.Group leader’s safety attention,group members’ safety exchange,group members’ safety involvement and group members’ safety awareness can strengthen the negative influence degree of site safety system on construction workers’ unsafe behavior.Finally,based on the model test results,suggestions are put forward to improve the safety management of construction site,including perfecting the safety system of construction site,enhancing the safety attention of team leader,optimizing the safety management of team members and controlling the unsafe behavior motivation of construction workers.By exploring the relationship between the construction group safety climate and unsafe behavior,this paper perfects the research content of unsafe behavior,and provides a new idea for the construction safety managers.
