The land ecosystem is an important part of the ecosystem, and the state of land ecological security is related to the sustainable development of the national economy. In the process of urban land use in China, the excessively intensive use of land resources has led to the continuous deterioration of urban land ecosystems, especially in areas with weak land carrying capacity, urban land ecosystem overwhelmed. The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important strategic area for China’s development, during its rapid development, there are serious land ecological problems,in the important period of ecological civilization construction, land ecological security of key areas has become a key research issue for ecological civilization construction. In this paper,by constructing a DPSIR model of land ecological security, the comprehensive index method is used to evaluate the level of land ecological security in the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2006-2016.At the same time, using global autocorrelation, local autocorrelation, and LISA cluster analysis to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of land ecological security;using the geo-detector model to study the driving factors of land ecological security in the Yangtze River Economic Zone;and based on the corresponding research results, policy suggestions for improving land ecological security are given.the main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)Through the theory of human-land relationship, the relationship between human activities and nature in the land ecosystem is analyzed, and the driving factors of land ecological security are clarified;through the theory of ecological carrying capacity, the relevant definitions and carrying capacity of the land ecosystem are understood, this provides a theoretical basis for the classification of land ecological security;through the theory of sustainable development, the research goals of land ecological security are clarified, that is,to promote the sustainable development of natural attributes, economic attributes and society attributes of land.(2)By analyzing the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of land ecological security in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the study concluded that: in time, the ecological security of land in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed a clear upward trend, the pressure on land ecosystems is gradually decreasing, and the status of land ecological security is gradually increasing. In terms of space, the level of land ecological security gradually decreases from east to west, which basically coincides with China’s tertiary terrain;between regions, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is a high-value agglomeration center in the downstream;the middle reaches of Yangtze River urban agglomeration is a high-value agglomeration center in the midstream;Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is a high-value agglomeration center in the upstream.(3)The leading driving factors of land ecological security in the Yangtze River Economic Belt include economic development, social development, environmental protection, land production efficiency, urbanization and other factors, but in different regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the driving effects of these factors are significant.Poor natural background conditions and low land production efficiency are the reasons for the low level of land ecological security in the upstream areas;rapid economic growth and the rationalization of urbanization processes are the leading driving factors for improving land ecological security in the middle reaches;Strengthened ecological environmental protection policies and continuously optimized industrial structure are the reasons for the continuous improvement of land ecological security in downstream areas. The relevant policy recommendations are given by research results:(1)Land ecological protection policies should continue to be strictly implemented to ensure the coordinated relationship between land ecosystems and economic and social development, and effectively improve the level of land ecological security in the various regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt;(2)Establish a differentiated land ecological protection policy system, aiming at the spatial difference characteristics of land ecological security in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the protection of land ecosystem needs to be promoted according to local conditions;(3)using the agglomeration benefits and adjacent advantages, and promote the integrity increasing of land ecological security. The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomerations, and the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations are high-value agglomerations of land ecological security, the radiative role of these high-value urban agglomerations should be used to promote the overall improvement of land ecological security between regions.(4)Raise the level of land ecological security in hot areas, and promote the improvement of land ecological security in cold spots.
