Application Of Caisson Pattern In Mogao Caves In Ceramic Household Ware Design

With the advent of the era of economic globalization,exchanges and dialogues between countries and nations have become intensive and frequent.In the context of globalization,due to the rapid penetration of foreign cultures,the public’s own cultural identity is weakened.At this time,it is particularly important to strengthen national cultural soft power and promote the aesthetics of great countries.Mogao Caves as the first batch of World cultural heritage in China,the gorgeous Mogao Caves caisson pattern in the cave is the crystallization of Dun Huang art,is the representative of Chinese aesthetics.As a Symbol of China in the eyes of the public,the combination of the two in innovative design is of great significance to lead the local culture to go out and enhance the national confidence of Chinese people.In this paper,the breakthrough design of Mogao Caves’ caisson pattern combined with ceramic household ware is the main research content,and the artistic characteristics and decorative meaning of Mogao Caves’ caisson pattern are analyzed from the aspects of pattern frame,color configuration,and patterns and lines.By collecting a large number of design patterns in modern design,the application of examples,summed up the Mogao Caves existing design methods sunk panel design,study summarized their merits and shortcomings,in the context of contemporary modern art design,the traditional Mogao Caves sunk panel design and modern pottery design in-depth thinking,explore the effective way and method.In the part of design practice,the caisson pattern of Mogao Caves is deconstructed,summarized and refined.According to the theoretical research,different innovative methods are obtained,and three sets of different ceramic living vessels are designed to verify its possibility.Mogao Caves caisson pattern unique art form,Mogao Caves caisson pattern into the design of ceramic household utensils.Combined with different ceramic decoration techniques,to create a traditional cultural atmosphere,so that different traditional culture and art between the blood.Taking ceramic living utensils as the carrier,propagating the aesthetics of great countries,providing new possibilities for the combination of the two design.
