| Chernyshevsky said: "Art originates from life and is higher than life" This shows that human artistic activity stems from the cognition and exploration of nature and life.As a small part of nature,the lotus canopy has a unique artistic charm and attracts people’s attention.Whether in the decoration of traditional utensils or in modern art works,the natural beauty of "lotus canopy" is revealed.This paper focuses on the "lotus puff" element,deeply analyzes the natural characteristics,humanistic meaning and its formal beauty,interprets the expression of "lotus puff" in different art disciplines,and then finds the point of convergence between it and ceramic decorative design,and then uses the artistic techniques of painting and stacking to apply the "lotus puff" element to ceramic decoration.The six sets of works presented by the author in this article are the embodiment of the organic combination of the natural and decorative beauty of the "lotus" element,and I hope that the research on this topic will provide more ideas and directions for future creators engaged in ceramic decorative arts. |
