Study On Distributors’ Order Management Optimization Of Company E

Company E is the world’s leading and famous manufacturer of fine chemical industry.The company’s slogan is “Leading Beyond Chemistry”,and providing customers with innovative,growing and sustainable solutions.With the vigorous development of fine chemical industry in China in recent years,the global chemical giants are constantly carrying out industrial integration towards refinement,and the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce.Currently,more than 70% revenue in China of company E is from distributors.The order management of distributors is playing a more and more important role in company E.Taking the order process management of the business line care solution of company E as the research object,this paper concludes the existing problems in the order management process of distributors,such as scattered and decentralized orders,low ontime delivery rate,slow-moving inventory and so on.Based on the theory of lean supply chain and business process optimization,the order management of distributors is optimized mainly from two aspects.On the one hand,several nodes in the internal order management process of company E are optimized.By improving the automation level of information system,the time and resources occupied by non value-added links are reduced and the time for processing orders is shortened,which improved work efficiency.On the other hand,it is to effectively standardize the order behavior of distributors,form a virtuous cycle of order management between distributors and company E,which will reduce excess inventory and accelerate inventory flow.
