With the rapid development of society and the unreasonable utilization of resources,the greenhouse gas emissions are excessive,which posed a great threat to the global nature and human survival.As one of the parties to the Paris Agreement and the largest carbon emitter in the world,China has put forward the goals of "peak carbon dioxide emissions" and "carbon neutrality".As one of the areas with high energy consumption in China,building is an important link to achieve the double-carbon goal,and the green and low-carbon development of the construction industry is an important support.Therefore,the state and local governments at all levels have successively issued a series of policies to promote the green and low-carbon development of the construction industry.Under the guidance of these policies,the focus of urban construction and renewal has gradually shifted from demolition and reconstruction to urban renewal.Renovation of old residential areas has become a key task.However,the renovation of old residential areas has a large volume,wide scope and many contents,which makes the amount of resources and energy invested in the renovation not be underestimated.Therefore,we should pay attention to the impact of the renovation scheme on carbon emissions in the renovation of old residential areas,so as to realize the low-carbon renovation of old residential areas and promote the realization of energy conservation and emission reduction targets in China.Based on this,the calculation method of carbon emissions in the renovation of old residential areas is discussed in this thesis,and the main sources and influencing factors of carbon emissions are analyzed.Based on this,the countermeasures and suggestions of emission reduction in the renovation of old residential areas are put forward,in order to realize the low-carbon renovation of old residential areas.(1)Firstly,through a large number of literature reading and document sorting,the definitions of old residential areas by different institutions and scholars are sorted out,and their similarities and differences are analyzed,and the concepts and connotations of old residential areas and their renovation are redefined to determine the research object.Based on the whole life cycle theory and the characteristics of old residential renovation projects,the three key stages of carbon emission calculation of the old residential renovation are determined: building materials production,building materials transportation and renovation construction.(2)Secondly,the policy documents related to the renovation of old residential areas are systematically analyzed,and the boundary scope of the renovation of old residential areas is determined based on the field investigation.The renovation methods of different parts and their corresponding consumption quotas are determined,and the carbon emission coefficients of various energy resources involved in the renovation project are sorted out.On the basis of considering the conventional elements,the carbon emissions generated by the return journey of building materials transportation and the impact of greening inside and outside the residential areas on carbon emissions are taken as important carbon emission measurement variables,and a carbon emission measurement model of old residential areas renovation is constructed accordingly.(3)Thirdly,to take a residential areas in Jinan as the object,an empirical analysis of the carbon emission measurement of the old residential areas renovation is carried out.Through satellite map retrieval and on-the-spot investigation,the old residential areas for empirical analysis is selected,and the renovation content is designed and the renovation scheme is determined in combination with the actual situation of the residential areas.A three-dimensional model of the renovation scheme is built by BIM software and loaded into the consumption quota standard of the renovation project in the areas where the old residential areas is located.The energy resources consumed by the renovation of the old residential areas are simulated,and the carbon emissions generated by the renovation of the old residential areas are calculated according to the built carbon emission calculation model.(4)Finally,according to the calculation results,the influencing factors of carbon emissions in the old residential areas renovation are analyzed,especially the carbon emissions in the renovation stage,and the corresponding carbon reduction measures are put forward.Through research and analysis,the following beneficial conclusions are obtained:(1)The scale of renovation and carbon emission coefficient are the main factors that affect the carbon emission of the renovation of old residential areas;(2)The selection of building materials suppliers directly affects the carbon emissions in the transportation stage;(3)In the renovation stage,the carbon emissions of elevators and stairs are the highest,followed by outdoor parts,external walls and installation parts.Among them,the carbon emission generated by installing the elevator as a new project is the main contribution source;(4)Greening can offset the negative environmental effects caused by the renovation to a certain extent.
