XY company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Communications Group Co.,Ltd.and has been deeply engaged in the material market of Guangdong Province for many years.Since the establishment of the material business section in 1999,XY company has always been the main supplier of Expressway material market in Guangdong Province.In2018,through merger and reorganization,it currently has three material business subsidiaries,which are involved in the three main materials of highway construction,asphalt,steel,cement trade and supply chain management,asphalt storage and modified processing production,pavement maintenance and construction,etc.from the perspective of market share,capital strength and management level,XY company is a leading material enterprise in Guangdong Province.With the gradual formation of the road network in Guangdong Province,the highway construction market in the province has gradually transformed from the new pavement market to the pavement maintenance market,which means that the demand for the three traditional materials in the highway market will gradually decline,and the demand for high-quality materials and pavement solutions will gradually rise.The three business subsidiaries of XY company’s material business are currently in the state of merger and reorganization but not integrated.The utilization of resources needs to be optimized,the operation cost needs to be improved,and the management and technology R & D capabilities need to be improved.In this context,it is urgent for XY company to optimize operation management and resource allocation through business integration.Taking the material business of XY company as the research object,this thesis makes an in-depth study on the development status and operation management status of the company’s material business through field investigation and analysis,literature analysis and interview analysis.It is found that there are single profit model and income,fuzzy technical development direction,low resource utilization,optimization space for operation cost,poor internal cooperation Management efficiency needs to be improved.The reason is that the organizational structure of XY company is unreasonable,the development direction is not clear,and the business management system is not advanced.Combined with pest and Porter’s five forces analysis model,this thesis studies and analyzes the internal and external environment of XY company’s material business,and uses Boston matrix,PE matrix and other tools to formulate integrated development strategies.Supplemented by safeguard measures for personnel,organization,structure and management tools to ensure the implementation of integrated development strategy.The business integration strategy proposed in this thesis will effectively optimize the material business resource allocation of XY company,innovate business model,improve management efficiency,enhance the company’s core competitiveness and ensure sustainable development and operation.
