Promoting ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin is a major national strategy,and its planning outline summarizes the problem of weak resource and environmental carrying capacity.As the largest tributary of the Yellow River,the ecological protection and development of the Wei River basin is an important part of this strategy.Protecting the ecology of its watershed is not only related to the high-quality development of the western region,but also the high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to clarify the past carrying state of the water environment carrying capacity of the upper Weihe River,explore the main factors affecting the water environment carrying capacity,and propose targeted countermeasures and suggestions for ecological environmental protection and high-quality development of the upper Weihe River.This paper takes the upper reaches of the Wei River as the research object.The paper uses principal component analysis to select 20 indicators from three perspectives and constructs a water environment carrying capacity evaluation index system for the upper reaches of the Wei River.We used principal component analysis and entropy weighting to evaluate the water environment carrying capacity of the upper reaches of the Wei River from 2013 to 2019.The evaluation of the water environment carrying capacity of the upper reaches of the Wei River from 2013 to2019 was carried out,and the evaluation results were compared and analyzed to find the main factors affecting the water environment carrying capacity of the upper reaches of the Wei River.The evaluation results were compared and analyzed to find the main factors affecting the water environment carrying capacity of the upper Weihe River,and then countermeasures to improve the water environment carrying capacity of the upper Weihe River were given.The following results and insights were obtained from the above study.(1)Changes in the water environment carrying capacity of the upper Wei River:The water environment carrying capacity of the upper Wei River declined from 2013 to 2019,with a large decline from 2013 to 2016 and a slight rebound from 2016 to2019.The bearing capacity of the water environment during 2013-2019 is as follows:2013 > 2014 > 2015 > 2019 >2018>2017>2016.(2)The main factors affecting the carrying capacity of the water environment in the upper Weihe River: the proportion of surface water resources,water consumption,the water production modulus,urbanization rate,total water resources,total water resources per capita,agricultural water consumption rate,10,000 Yuan GDP Chemical oxygen demand emissions,and the proportion of tertiary industry.(3)Countermeasures to improve the carrying capacity of the water environment in the upper reaches of the Wei River: from the water and environment perspective,the human society perspective,and the socio-economic perspective,respectively.In summary,we will promote water conservation and systematic management,water conservation,and the development of efficient dry farming.
