Objective:According to the law of growth and decline of the Yin and Yang in patients with infertility caused by PCOS,we individualized TCM Periodic Therapy combined with western medicine treatment for kidney patients with infertility caused by PCOS,and compared with sole western medicine treatment,so as to seek different treatment options for two groups in which improving clinical symptoms and the pregnancy rate,and to investigate whether the combined treatment can improve the quality of eggs and embryos,reduce the complications such as OHSS,improve implantation environment,increase the rate of pregnancy as well as lower abortion rates,etc.Methods:Seventy patients with infertility caused by kidney deficiency type PCOS who met the diagnostic criteria were randomly selected and divided into treatment group(35 cases)and control group(35 cases)according to the order of treatment.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine,and the control group was treated with western medicine.One menstrual cycle was one course of treatment.After three courses of treatment,the pregnancy rate,clinical symptoms and signs,and the changes of various examination indexes were observed before and after treatment.Results:After treatment,the pregnancy rate of the treatment group was 48.57%,and that of the control group was 22.86%.The difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).In addition,after treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the TCM related clinical symptoms,the five rounds and the ichthyosis,lowering the serum LH,LH/FSH,and T,increasing the serum E2,and improving the endometrium types(P<0.05).Through clinical observation,the total effective rate of the treatment group(91.43%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(65.71%),with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The periodical therapy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine in treating the infertility caused by kidney deficiency type PCOS has obvious advantages over the treatment with western medicine alone.
