Objective: Applying the ultrasound to detect hemodynamics of Systemic sclerosis(SSc)patients’ middle finger Proper palmar digital artery(PPDA)and Ulnar artery(UA),to analyze and discuss the value of ultrasound in the evaluation of the extremity artery disease in patients with systemic scleroderma.Methods: From February 2019 to December 2019,51 patients that diagnosed as systemic scleroderma in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University were collected as the case group,and 40 healthy adults as the control group during the same period.And collected the clinical information and the laboratory examination information of the case group.Color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI)and pulsed wave Doppler(PW)were used to examine the right middle finger PPDA and right-hand UA in the case group and control group,CDFI displayed the vessel shape and blood flow filling of PPDA and UA,PW measured the hemodynamic parametersof of PPDA: Peak systolic velocity(PSV),end diastolic velocity(EDV)and resistance index(RI),and measured the PSV of UA.Analyzing the difference of hemodynamic parameters of PPDA and UA between the case group and control group,and compare the differences of the hemodynamic parameters of PPDA and UA between the two groups of patients in edematous phase and sclerotic phase.The differences in hemodynamic parameters of PPDA and UA in SSc patients with negative and positive anti-Scl-70 antibody were compared.Results:1.There were statistically significant difference in the PSV of UA and PSV,EDV and RI of PPDA between the case group and the control group(P<0.05).The PSV of UA in case group was lower than the control group,and the PSV and EDV of PPDA in case group were lower than the control group,and the RI was higher than the control group.2.There were statistically significant difference in the PSV of UA and PSV,EDV and RI of PPDA between the edematous phase and sclerotic phase(P<0.05).The PSV of UA in sclerotic phase was lower than the edematous phase,and the PSV and EDV of PPDA in sclerotic phase were lower than the edematous phase,and the RI was higher than the edematous phase.3.There were no significant difference in PSV of UA as well as in PSV,EDV and RI of PPDA between negative and positive groups of anti-Scl-70 antibody in SSc case group(P>0.05).Conclusions: Ultrasound can detect and evaluate the hemodynamic changes of PPDA and UA in patients with systemic scleroderma,and it can reflect the progression of disease of SSc patients to a certain extent,which provide reference for diagnosis and treatment effectiveness of systemic scleroderma.
