| [Purpose] The purpose of this study is to build a scientific, reasonable, systematic and effective competency model indicator system for medical records managers,so that hospitals can select, train and evaluate medical records management talents in a more standardized and scientific manner. And to provide theoretical basis and decision support for optimizing human resources management in hospitals.Understand the current work status of medical records management staff, and provide a certain reference for hospital medical records management.[Methods]Firstly, based on the literature review, combined with the semi-structured interview results of experienced medical records managers and experts in the hospital,an initial competency model system for medical records managers was constructed;then, two rounds of Delphi expert consultation methods were used to conduct the initial model to optimize the initial model;finally, use the optimized competency model index as a tool to conduct a self-assessment survey of medical records managers, and analyze its reliability and validity by statistical analysis.[Results] This study builds a competency model for medical records managers in a digital environment. There are 3 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators, and 42third-level indicators. The research results are real, effective, and scientifically practical.[Conclusions] In this study, the competency model of medical records managers constructed by various methods is scientific and reasonable. It provides a systematic and operable competency model for medical records managers. However, due to time and resource constraints, the research sample size is small,so the research results may be biased and subjective. The next step can be to expand the scope of research based on the established model, and adopt an objective and other evaluation form to improve the competency model of medical records managers. |
