| Objective:The incidence of colon cancer is increasing year by year in China.Early Detection of colon cancer or precancerous lesions of colon cancer is of great significance to improve the quality of life and health of patients.Colorectal adenoma are precancerous lesions of colon cancer. The incidence rate of Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)also showed an increasing trend. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the incidence, pathogenesis and clinical characteristics of colorectal adenoma and NAFLD.Methods:Collected the information of 1529 inpatients with complete data of electronic colonoscopy and related auxiliary examination were selected from January 2019 to December 2019 in Fujian provincial hospital for the elderly, divided into NAFLD Group(647 cases)according to the results of Color Doppler ultrasonography examination of digestive system, and non-NAFLD Control Group(882cases).The sex,age and personal history, past medical history and metabolic index of the patients were collected and compared. All patients completed electronic colonoscopy and Color Doppler examination of digestive system at the same time, record whether the detection of colon polyps, colon polyps detected in patients recorded the number, size and pathological nature of polyps.Chi-square test was used to determine whether NAFLD was associated with colorectal adenoma, and whether NAFLD was associated with the number, size and pathological characteristics of colorectal adenoma. Results:Statistically, patients with NAFLD were more likely to have colorectal adenoma than patients without NAFLD.NAFLD is closely related to the pathogenesis of colorectal adenoma. The size and number of colorectal adenoma and the number of high-risk colorectal adenoma were not found to be associated with NAFLD.Conclusion:NAFLD is closely related to the pathogenesis of colorectal adenoma and plays a role in the pathogenesis of colorectal adenoma.Patients with NAFLD were more likely to have colorectal adenoma than those without NAFLD.Therefore, the need for enteroscopy can be further evaluated after determining whether NAFLD is present. For patients with NAFLD,the electronic colonoscopy should be improved as early as possible while treating and improving liver function. If polyps are found, endoscopic treatment should be performed as early as possible, and the colonoscopy should be reviewed regularly after treatment.Based on this, patients can discover and treat colorectal adenoma at early stage, which is of great significance for reducing the incidence rate and mortality of colon cancer. |
