Objective: To evaluate the rehabilitation effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in patients with knee osteoarthritis based on surface electromyography. Methods: From August 2019 to January 2020,60 patients with knee osteoarthritis were selected as the study subjects according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.According to the random number table corresponding to the order of visits, the subjects were randomly divided into the proprioceptive nerve muscle promotion technique treatment group(experimental group)and the basic training group(control group)in a1:1 scale,30 in each group. Before and after treatment, all patients were recorded with Lyshlom knee score(LKSS),3m time-lapse walking test(timed up and go test,TUGT)and surface electromyography. To evaluate the rehabilitation effect of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation in patients with knee osteoarthritis by analyzing and comparing the data changes before and after.Result:1.There was no significant difference in the LKSS scores of knee function between the test group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the LKSS scores of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).Among the eight indicators, the scores of pain and instability in the test group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in claudication, support, strangulation, swelling, stair climbing and squat items(P>0.05).2.After 4 weeks of treatment, the time of 3m TUGT in the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Moreover,the time of 3m TUGT in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.During the isokinetic knee extension at 60°/s,before treatment, there was no significant difference in IEMG between the two groups in external femoral muscle(VL),rectus femoris(RF)and medial femoral muscle(VMO)(P>0.05),after 4 weeks of treatment, the IEMG of VL,RF and VMO in the test group was higher than that of the pre-treatment and control group(P<0.05).4.During isokinetic knee extension at 300°/s,the MPFs of VL,RF,VMO were not significantly different in the first two groups(P>0.05),after 4 weeks of treatment, the MPFs of VL,RF,VMO in the trial group were higher than in the pre-treatment and control groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Surface electromyography can quantitatively evaluate knee extension muscle function in KOA patients;2.Proprioceptive neuromuscular promotion technology can effectively relieve pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis and increase quadriceps muscle strength and endurance, enhancing joint stability and improving balance function;3.On the basis of focused ultrasound therapy, interference electrotherapy and other treatment, the combined PNF can enhance the proprioceptive and muscle function of KOA patients, and has a better rehabilitation effect on the joint function of KOA patients.
