Objective By detecting the surface electromyography(s EMG)values,VAS scale, and JKOM scale of medial femoral muscle and biceps femoris in patients with knee osteoarthritis diagnosed by Western medicine before and after treatment,we analyzed(1)the impact of Mongolian medicine acupuncture on the surface electromyography of medial femoral muscle and biceps femoris;(2)Whether the pain and stiffness caused by knee osteoarthritis can be alleviated and the motor function of the knee joint can be improved after acupuncture treatment with Mongolian medicine for knee osteoarthritis;(3)It is confirmed that surface electromyography can be an objective evaluation method for the effect of acupuncture in Mongolian medicine on the muscle level. Methods From January 2022 to January 2023,61 patients with knee osteoarthritis were diagnosed and treated in the outpatient department of the Department of Five Treatments and Rehabilitation of our hospital, which met the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine KOA and the inclusion criteria of this study, and were selected according to the exclusion and exclusion criteria. The patients were randomly divided into two groups by single-blind method,30 cases(left side 8 cases, right side 10 cases, bilateral 12 cases)in the treatment group and31 cases(left side 13 cases, right side 8 cases, bilateral 10 cases)in the control group.Group1(treatment group)was treated with acupuncture and microwave for 14 days.Mongolian medicine acupuncture treatment once a day,25min/time,followed by microwave treatment, once a day,20min/time,There is no strict sequence between acupuncture therapy and microwave therapy in Mongolian medicine;Group 2(control group)were treated with microwave for 14 days, once a day,20 minutes a time. The VM and BF surface EMG values,VAS scale and JKOM scale scores were collected before and after treatment in both groups.Compare the changes of s EMG value,VAS scale and JKOM scale value after treatment between the treatment group and the control group, and compare the curative effect of Mongolian medicine acupuncture therapy on muscle strength, analgesia and improvement of knee joint function.Results(1)There was no significant difference in gender, age, and disease side between the two groups of patients(P>0.05);(2)There were differences between the two groups of left KOA before and after treatment(P<0.05);There was a difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),showing that the treatment group was superior to the control group.(3)There was a difference between the two groups of right KOA before and after treatment(P<0.05);There was a difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),proving that the treatment group was superior to the control group.(4)There was a difference in the left muscle of double KOA between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05);Biceps femoris muscle group had difference after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group. There was no difference in the medial femoral muscle group before and after treatment(P>0.05).(5)There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups before the treatment of double KOA right muscle, indicating comparability; There was a difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no difference between the control group and the biceps femoris muscle group before and after treatment(P>0.05);There was no difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference between the treatment group and the control group.(6)The VAS scale showed no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability; There was a difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05);There was a difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group.(7)The JKOM scale showed significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.001);There was a difference between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group. There was no significant difference in pain and stiffness, daily living status, and joint health status between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability. The difference in daily activity status is significant(P<0.05),and there is no comparability; After treatment, there was a significant difference in pain and stiffness between the two groups on the scale(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group, and there was no difference in daily life status, daily activity status, and joint health status(P>0.05);Conclusion:1.It can be seen from the surface electromyography that both Mongolian acupuncture and microwave treatment can improve the muscle strength of the medial thigh muscle and biceps femoris muscle, and Mongolian acupuncture plus microwave treatment is more conducive to the growth of the muscle strength of the medial thigh muscle and biceps femoris muscle.2.From the VAS scale,it can be seen that both Mongolian acupuncture and microwave therapy can alleviate the pain and stiffness caused by knee osteoarthritis, and the combination of Mongolian acupuncture and microwave therapy is superior to simple microwave therapy.3.Mongolian acupuncture therapy can improve the daily activity ability of patients with knee osteoarthritis.4 Surface electromyography can confirm that Mongolian acupuncture can improve the RMS value of medial thigh muscle and biceps femoris muscle. |
