Functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGIDs)is one of the common digestive diseases.A large number of studies have found that mentality factors play an significant role in the pathogenesis of FGIDs.At present, the psychological assessment tools commonly used in general hospitals in China to assess mental and psychological disorders include the Zung Selfrating Anxiety Scale(SAS),the Zung Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7(GAD-7),Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9),etc.but patients in general hospitals are mostly treated with somatization symptoms. The above scale focuses more on psychological emotions, and the recognition rate of mental and psychological disorders in general hospitals is low.The Somatic Self-rating Scale(SSS)is a self-assessment scale designed by the Chinese scholar Professor Mao Jialiang. In addition to psychological emotions,it also includes somatic symptoms. The previous study of this research group has confirmed that SSS has good reliability and validity in patients with FGIDs.This study further evaluated the stability and diagnostic value of SSS in the screening of mental disorders in patients with FGIDs in the gastroenterology clinic. Objective: Use SSS,SAS,SDS to evaluate the mental state of FGIDs patients, evaluate the stability of SSS through retest reliability, and explore the diagnostic value of SSS in the identification of mental and psychological disorders in patients with gastrointestinal FGIDs through the Area under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC).Methods: Sixty patients with FGIDs who were treated in the Department of Gastroenterology of Hebei Provincial People’s Hospital from March 2019 to January 2020 were selected for psychological assessment.Twenty patients were selected according to the random number table method. After two weeks, the scale was retested by them.General data were descriptively analyzed. The SSS was analyzed by Cronbach’s a and the retest reliability was calculated, and the diagnostic value was judged by calculating AUC.Results: 1.There were no statistically significant differences in the SSS scale scores between patients of different ages, education levels and places of residence(P> 0.05).The SSS scale scores of female patients were significantly higher than those of male patients, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.60.0%,45.0%,and 51.7% of patients with FGIDs combined with mental and psychological disorders were assessed by SSS,SAS,and SDS,respectively, indicating that the prevalence of psychosocial disorders in FGIDs is higher.3.The positive detection rates of SSS,SAS,and SDS for patients with FGIDs combined with mental and psychological disorders were 87.8%,65.9%,and 75.6%,indicating that SSS had the highest detection rate of mental and psychological disorders among FGIDs.4.(1)The internal consistency analysis of the SSS scale is based on a Cronbach ’sα coefficient of 0.902,which indicates that the scale has a high reliability. The Pearson correlation analysis was used to retest the results of the two measurements. The reliability analysis result was 0.973,indicating that the two measurement results maintained a good consistency;(2)The correlation coefficients between SSS-SAS and SSS-SDS scores were 0.841 and 0.748.Correlation coefficients between physical symptoms(factor S),anxiety symptoms(factor A),depressive symptoms(factor D),anxiety and depression symptoms(AD factor)and SAS and SDS scores are 0.465 to 0.822,of which the factor A score and The correlation coefficient of the SAS score was 0.737,and the correlation coefficient between the D-factor score and the SDS score was 0.820,all of which were positively correlated with statistical significance(P <0.001).This shows that the scale can reflect both psychological and emotional and physical symptoms.5.When the SSS is more than 35,the Jordan index is the largest, the sensitivity is 90.2%,the specificity is 78.9%,and the area under the ROC curve is 0.884(P <0.005),indicating that SSS has mental and psychological disorders in FGIDs patients.Diagnostic value. Conclusion: SSS scale has good stability and accuracy, and can be used as a gastroenterologist in general hospitals to identify patients with FGIDs accompanied by mental and psychological disorders tool,The prevalence of mental and psychological disorders in FGIDs patients is higher, and the prevalence of females is higher than that of men.
