Objective:To understand the willingness of general practitioners in Shandong Province to promote cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and the relevant factors hindering the promotion of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and to explore possible solutions in order to provide reference for further promotion of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Methods:This study adopts the explanatory sequential design in the mixed methodology, and selects the general practitioners who participate in the General Practitioners Branch of Shandong Medical Association in 2020 as the research object. In the first stage,a self-made questionnaire was distributed at the scene of the meeting to investigate the medical workers’ understanding of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, ways of understanding, specific willingness to promote and hindering factors. The results of the questionnaire were inputted into Excel software and analyzed by SPSS23.0 software. The statistical results of the questionnaire were obtained by using descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test,t-test and other statistical analysis methods. In the second stage, the semi-structured interview outline was developed according to the quantitative results, and the medical workers who participated in the survey were selected to conduct semi-structured interviews, the interview contents were transcribed into text format and saved, and the interview records were analyzed and encoded by NVIVO17.0 software to find the topic. Finally, the project team discussed the topic until a consensus was reached and the results of qualitative analysis were obtained. In the third stage, more detailed insights are obtained by comprehensive analysis of quantitative and qualitative results. Results:A total of 205 valid questionnaires were collected. The survey shows that the vast majority of medical workers think that cardiopulmonary rehabilitation can benefit patients and are willing to promote cardiopulmonary rehabilitation in the process of diagnosis and treatment(98.54%).The main factors hindering the promotion of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation by general practitioners are patients’ understanding(41.95%),medical workers’ own factors(30.24%)and related policy factors(29.31%).NVIVO software was used to analyze the emotion of semi-structured interviews:the average positive, very positive and very negative reference points of all interviewees were 15.77±3.15,8.97±3.27,10.87±4.92,2.63±1.19,respectively,indicating that all respondents had a positive attitude towards the interview as a whole.Encode the semi-structured interview and determine the topic as follows:1.Strong willingness to promote, but lack of professional guidance, resulting in lack of confidence in promotion;2.Optimize the promotion strategy to improve the participation rate of patients;3.A variety of publicity methods are combined to make it easier for more people to understand cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. The support of relevant policies is essential. Conclusion:General practitioners in Shandong Province are willing to promote cardiopulmonary rehabilitation actively, lack of relevant knowledge, patients’ lack of understanding of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and lack of support from relevant policies are the main obstacles in the process of promotion.
