| ObjectiveUse ultrafast pulse wave velocity(UFPWV)technique to explore the changes of carotid artery elasticity in patients with hyperuricemia and hyperuricemia combined with hyperlipidemia, and provide important reference value for clinical early treatment and prognosis.MethodsSelect 105 patients with hyperuricemia who came to our hospital for examination and confirmed diagnoses from July 2019 to December 2020,and according to whether or not they have hyperlipidemia, they were divide into hyperuricemia group(55 cases, group A)and hyperuricemia combined with hyperlipidemia group(50 cases, group B).In addition,50 healthy volunteers who came to our hospital for examination during the same time period were selected as the control group.General data such as age, blood pressure, blood uric acid and blood lipid of all subjects were detected and collected.Use the UFPWV technology to detect the pulse wave velocity at the beginning and the ending of the systole of all subjects(PWV-BS,PWV-ES).Statistical software was used to compare and analyze the above data.Results1.Comparison of general clinical data(1)There was no difference in age, blood pressure and blood glucose between the three groups(P>0.05).(2)The uric acid value of group A and group B was higher than that of control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05),there was no statistical difference in uric acid between A and B groups(P>0.05).(3)There was differences in triglyceride, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in group B compared with control group and group A(P<0.05),there was no differences in triglyceride, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and highdensity lipoprotein cholesterol between control group and group A(P>0.05).2.Comparison of carotid intima-media thickness,PWV-BS and PWV-ES among the three groups(1)There was no difference in intima-media thickness between the three groups(P>0.05).(2)There were differences in PWV-BS and PWV-ES among the three groups, the PWV-BS and PWV-ES in control group, group A and group B were increased successively.3.Intra-group comparison of bilateral PWV-BS and PWV-ES among three groups(1)Control group: There was no difference in PWV-BS and PWV-ES between the left and right carotid arteries(P>0.05).(2)Group A: There was no difference in PWV-BS and PWV-ES between the left and right carotid arteries(P>0.05).(3)Group B: There was no difference in PWV-BS and PWV-ES between the left and right carotid arteries(P>0.05).Conclusions1.Decrease of carotid wall elasticity in hyperuricemia and hyperuricemia combined with hyperlipidemia, and the wall is stiff.2.The UFPWV technique can detect the change of carotid artery elastic function earlier,it can provide an important reference for early diagnosis and follow-up treatment. |
