Investigation And Research On The Quality Of The Elderly Life In Changchun Community

Objective: Through investigating and researching the health-related quality of life of the elderly in Changchun community,the current quality of life and existing problems of the elderly in Changchun community will be understood.Based on the survey results,further investigation will explore the possible factors that affect the quality of life of the elderly.By analyzing these influencing factors,the effective suggestions will be given to improve the health status and quality of life of the elderly,and then apply these suggestions to the work of guiding the health management of the elderly,which provide theoretical support for promoting healthy aging.Methods: Taking the permanent residents aged 60 years and above in Changchun City as the survey subjects,the demographic data of the survey subjects(gender,age,occupation,etc.),the information of personal history(smoking history,drinking history)and personal health status(body mass index,whether have chronic diseases,the number of confirmed chronic diseases)were collected through the self-made general information questionnaire.The quality of life of the surveyed was measured by the SF-36 scale.SPSS 22.0 was used for data analysis,and the data was described by percentage and(?)±S.Statistical methods adopt t test,analysis of variance and logistic regression analysis.Results: A total of 542 questionnaires were returned in this survey,of which 519 were valid questionnaires,and the effective rate of the questionnaire was 95.76%.(1)In the Cronbach’α coefficients of the 8 dimensions of the SF-36 scale,all dimensions except the SF dimension are greater than 0.70,indicating that the internal consistency of the scale is better;for the 8 dimensions of the SF-36 scale Through factor analysis,two common factors were obtained,and the cumulative contribution rate was 72.6%,which explained 41.242%and 31.358% of the total variance,respectively,suggesting that the scale has a high structural validity.(2)The average scores of the 8 dimensions of the quality of life of the elderly in the community of Changchun City are: PF(74.64±22.55)points,RP(57.56±42.54)points,BP(73.08±19.24)points,GH(55.05±21.28)points,VT(62.74±18.42)points,SF(71.29±22.25)points,RE(60.57±41.70)points,MH(66.29±18.59)points.(3)Analyze the factors influencing the quality of life of the surveyed persons,elderly persons who are male,younger,have a spouse,have a high level of education,have a high monthly income,are not sick or have a small number of diagnosed chronic diseases have a higher quality of life and physical health.The elderly who are younger,have a high education level,have a high monthly income,have a normal body mass index(BMI)or are obese,have no disease or have a small number of diagnosed chronic diseases,have a higher quality of life and mental health.Conclusion:(1)The overall health-related quality of life scores of the elderly in the community of Changchun City are low,and the quality of life needs to be improved.(2)Factors affecting the quality of life include gender,age,marital status,education level,monthly income,body mass index(BMI),and the number of chronic diseases diagnosed.Aim at the above-mentioned influencing factors,active and effective measures should be taken to improve the quality of life of the elderly in the area.
