| Objective: To study the clinical effect of Xianfang Huoming Decoction on acute postoperative infection of tibia and fibula fractures,analyze its safety,effectiveness,and practicability,and provide experience and basis for Chinese medicine adjuvant treatment of fracture-related infections.Methods: Selected 46 patients from the Traumatology Orthopedic Ward of our hospital who needed debridement treatment due to postoperative acute infection of tibia and fibula fractures between February2020 and February 2021.According to the inclusion criteria and the random number table method,they were divided into the interveve group and the control group,with 23 in each group.Treatment method:Interveve group: On the basis of conventional treatment,Start taking Xianfang Huoming Decoction on the first day after debridement,and the course of treatment is 14 days;Control group: only received conventional treatment,No taking Xianfang Huoming Decoction after debridement;All patients were given the same conventional treatments(systemic antibiotic application,debridement,postoperative VSD,and other treatments)during the perioperative period.Observe and record the changes in inflammation indicators(WBC,CRP,ESR,IL-6),swelling and pain of the affected limbs,changes in body temperature,and the first postoperative days 1,3,7,and 14 of the two groups of patients.Follow up for 1 month and record whether there are adverse events.Results:1.Baseline data comparison: There was no statistical difference between the two groups in age,gender,side,injury type,fixation treatment,fracture type,and bacterial type(P>0.05).2.Laboratory index analysis: WBC,CRP,ESR,IL-6 in the two groups were not statistically significant before and on the first day after surgery(P>0.05);it was statistically significant at3 days after surgery,7 days after surgery,and 14 days after surgery(P>0.05),and the interveve group was better than the control group.3.Analysis of clinical observation indicators: The swelling efficacy and pain scores of the two groups were not significantly statistically significant before and on the first day after surgery(P>0.05);3 days after surgery,7 days after surgery,and 14 days after surgery All are statistically significant,and the interveve group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The body temperature changes of the two groups were not statistically significant before operation,the first day after surgery,and the 14 th day after surgery(P>0.05);Both3 days and 7 days after surgery were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the interveve group was better than the control group;The body temperature of the two groups increased first,then decreased,and finally the same,and the interveve group decreased faster.4.Follow-up 1 month after operation: the interveve group: the cure rate was 90%,and the effective rate was 100%;the control group: the cure rate was 85%,and the effective rate was95%.There was no significant difference in the follow-up 1 month after the operation between the two groups(P>0.05),and it is not considered that the interveve group is better than the control group.Conclusion: Xianfang Huoming Decoction for treatment of acute postoperative infections of tibia and fibula fractures can accelerate the reduction of serum inflammatory indicators(WBC,CRP,ESR,IL-6),improve the symptoms of swelling and pain,and systemic fever,and help control Infectious effects,and no obvious adverse reactions were found. |
