Objective: To research the correlation between AAC and serum OPG and Fetuin-A in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)stage 3-5D,and to analyze the risk factors of Abdominal aortic calcification. Methods: 95 patients with CKD3-5D stage in the first affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College nephrology department were selected as the experimental group,while64 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The general clinical data of the experimental group and the control group were collected, and the differences of clinical biochemical indexes between the patients with CKD3-5D stage and the healthy people were compared.Experimental group and control group adopts abdomen oblique X-ray plain film assessment AAC,and calcium score was calculated.According to the calcium score CKD3-5D period patients were divided into AAC group and non-AAC.Serum levels of OPG and Fetuin-A were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and analyzes its relationship with AAC.Results: The levels of calcium, phosphorus,ALB,ALP,TG,CRP and serum OPG in experimental group were higher than those in control group, while the levels of serum Fetuin-A in experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The serum OPG level in the calcified group was higher than that in the non-calcified group, and the serum Fetuin-A level in AAC.group was lower than that in the non-AAC group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Serum OPG and age were positively correlated with AAC,and serum Fetuin-A was negatively correlated with AAC.Logistic regression analysis showed that age, phosphorus, serum OPG and serum Fetuin-A were risk factors for AAC,and serum OPG was a risk factor for AAC severity classification. Conclusion: The incidence of AAC in CKD patients is higher than that in normal subjects.Age,blood phosphorus, serum OPG and serum Fetuin-A are risk factors for AAC.Serum OPG is an independent risk factor for distinguishing AAC classification. With the aggravation of AAC degree,OPG level increases.
