Objective: In this study,the clinical efficacy and complication rate of microballoon compression for trigeminal neuralgia guided by digital subtraction angiography and traditional C-arm guided microballoon compression were compared,and the advantages and disadvantages of the two intraoperative puncture methods were compared,in order to provide better clinical guidance.Methods: a retrospective analysis of the 1st affiliated hospital of bengbu medical college neurosurgery were 35 cases with primary trigeminal neuralgia patients,15 cases with DSA group,20 cases of unit C arm,blood vessels using digital subtraction angiography(DSA group Zao Ying Ji precision guided balloon compression,unit C arm is under the traditional C arm machine guide,compared two groups of patients the one-time success rate of puncture,operation time,clinical curative effect and complications.Results: The success rate of one-time puncture in DSA group was 86.66%higher than that in C-arm group(55%).The operation time of DSA group(25.45±5.81)min was shorter than that of C-arm group(46.44±5.79)min.There were significant differences in the success rate of one-time puncture and the duration of operation between the two groups(P<0.05),the clinical effective rate of DSA group was 93.33%,and that of C-arm group was 90%.There was no statistical difference in the clinical effective rate between the two groups(P > 0.05).In the DSA group,there were 3 cases of masseter muscle weakness,2 cases of herpes simplex,1 case of diplopia,1 case of trigeminal nerve inhibition during operation,and the complication rate was 46.66%.In the C-arm group,there were 8 cases of herpes oralis,3 cases of masseter weakness,2 cases of diplopia,and 4 cases of trigeminal nerve inhibition.The complication rate was 85%.The incidence of complications in the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Both of the two surgical methods have significant clinical efficacy.The DSA group is significantly better than the C-arm group in one-time puncture success rate,shorten operation time and reduce complications.DSA-guided microballoon compression has high clinical application and promotion value.
