Objective:Through the follow-up of the clinical efficacy of PFNA and Intertan intramedullary nail fixation in the treatment of senile intertrochanteric fracture, the authors analyzed the postoperative efficacy of two kinds of intramedullary nail fixation in the treatment of senile intertrochanteric fracture, and provided a certain reference for clinical work. Methods:A total of 106 patients with intertroteric fracture of the femur who met the diagnostic and inclusion criteria in the Department of Orthopedics of our hospital from October 2018 to December 2019 were retrospective analyzed.66 patients received PFNA internal fixation and 40 patients received Intertan internal fixation, respectively. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy time, hospital stay, fracture healing time, postoperative complications and hip joint function were compared between the two groups. Results:The operative time, intraoperative blood loss and intraoperative fluoroscopy times in PFNA group were all lower than those in Intertan group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in hospital stay, fracture healing time and Harris score between two groups(P>0.05).There were 4 local complications in PFNA group, including 2 cases of hip varus,1 case of screw removal, and 1 case of internal fixation loosening. There was 1 case of hip varus deformity in the Intertan group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which may be related to the small number of cases collected, and further study is needed to expand the sample. There were 4 systemic complications in PFNA group, including 2cases of venous thrombosis in lower limbs,1 case of pulmonary infection, and 1 case of urinary tract infection. There were 3 cases of systemic complications in the Intertan group, including 1 case of lower limb vein thrombosis,1 case of pulmonary infection, and 1 case of Infection of incision, respectively. There was no statistical significance in postoperative systemic complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:PFNA has short operation time and less intraoperative blood loss.Intertan has good pressure and anti-rotation ability, higher stability.
