| Objective: Having observed the changes of clinical symptoms and related laboratory indicators in patients with rheumatoid arthritis anemia treated with modified Duhuo Jisheng Decoction combined with western medicine,to preliminarily evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment plan,and to explore the treatment of rheumatoidarthritis anemia with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.The new method is expected to relieve joint and systemic symptoms while improving the symptomsof anemia in patients,and provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of rheumatoidarthritis anemia.Method: This study adopted a randomized controlled trial.84 patients with rheumatoid arthritis anemia who met the inclusion criteria of this study were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group,with 42 cases in each group.The treatment group was given Duhuo Ji Sheng Decoction + Leflunomide Tablets,and the control group was given Leflunomide Tablets + Iron Dextran + Folic Acid Tablets.The two groups were clinically observed for 8 weeks.Based on hemoglobin(Hb),redblood cell(RBC),mean corpuscular volume(MCV),mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration(MCHC),mean corpuscular hemoglobin(MCH),rheumatoid factor(RF),erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP)as the effectiveness observation indicators.The blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function,and possible adverse reactions during the medication period are taken as the safety observation indicators.Observe the changes in the clinical symptom scores and related laboratorindicators of the two groups of patients before and after treatment,and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Duhuo jisheng Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis anemia,and provide a basis for its clinical application.Results: In the course of clinical treatment,a total of 4 patients fell off,and a total of 80 patients finally completed this clinical study,with 40 patients in each group.According to data analysis:(1)After 8 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%(35/40),and the effective rate of the control group was 70%(28/40).The efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(2)Changes in main laboratory indicators: Hb,RBC,MCV,MCH,MCHC and other anemia-related indicators of the two groups of patients were improved after treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The RF,CRP and ESR of the two groups were reduced(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the reduction of CRP and ESR in the treatment group was more significant(P<0.05),and the difference in the reduction of RF was not significant(P>0.05).(3)Changes in clinical symptoms: After treatment,the anemia symptom score,joint symptom score,and quality of life score(HAQ)of the two groups were improved(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of the improvement of individual symptoms between the two groups after treatment showed that,except for flustered and short of breath,joint swelling,and joint tenderness,the improvement of other symptoms in the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the improvement of the control group’s undesired dietary symptoms compared with before treatment(P>0.05).(4)Adverse reactions and safety analysis: Minor adverse reactions occurred in both groups of patients,and disappeared after relevant treatments.There were no obvious abnormalities in the safety index of the two groups of patients,and the difference in safety evaluation between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)Compared with the treatment plan of treating rheumatoid arthritis anemia with western medicine alone,Duhuojisheng decoction combined with western medicine has more advantages in improving clinical symptoms,improving the quality of life of patients,controlling rheumatoid activity,and improving anemia indicators.(2)Compared with the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis anemia with the addition of Duhuojisheng combined with western medicine,it is safer and has a lower incidence of adverse reactions.It is worthy of clinical adoption and promotion. |
