Clinical Observation Of Baijie Powder Retention Enema Combined With Mesalazine Suppository In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Proctitis In Mild To Moderate Active Stage

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Baijiesan retention enema combined with mesalazine suppository in the treatment of mild to moderate ulcerative rectitis.Methods:Sixty patients with ulcerative rectitis who were hospitalized in anorectal department from November 2019 to November 2020 were randomly divided into control group(30 cases treated with mesalazine suppository,with one anus in the morning and one anus in the evening)and treatment group(30 cases treated with Baiji San retention enema combined with mesalazine suppository,with one anus in the morning and one anus in the evening).Two weeks is a course of treatment,and both groups are treated continuously for two courses of treatment.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated by evaluating the comprehensive curative effect after treatment,and observing the clinical symptoms,disease activity index,intestinal mucosa score,coagulation function related indicators(platelet count,D-dimer),inflammation level related indicators(ESR,C-reactive protein)and drug safety before and after treatment.Results:(1)After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,which was better than that of the control group(86.67%),but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).(2)Improvement of clinical symptoms in two groups:the total scores of clinical symptoms in two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05);After treatment,the total scores of the two groups were significantly different(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving abdominal pain,mucopurulent bloody stool,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).(3)Disease activity index,using modified Mayo score:After treatment,the modified Mayo scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the difference between the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.(4)score of intestinal mucosa,Baron endoscopic score: after treatment,Baron scores of both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment,the score of treatment group was lower than that of control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)related indexes of coagulation function: in terms of platelet count and D-dimer level,the levels of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(6)Inflammation level related indicators: In terms of ESR and C-reactive protein levels,the inflammation levels of the two groups decreased significantly after treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05);However,after treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).(7)In terms of safety: 2 cases of dizziness and discomfort and 2 cases of abdominal distension occurred in the control group;In the treatment group,there was 1 case of abdominal distension and 1 case of anal distention after enema.The patients were told to relax and the symptoms disappeared after rest,which did not affect the follow-up treatment.Conclusion:Baijiesan retention enema combined with mesalazine suppository has obvious curative effect on ulcerative rectitis in mild to moderate active stage,which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms,improve intestinal mucosal damage,alleviate inflammatory reaction and improve blood hypercoagulable state,and has fewer adverse reactions.Baijiesan retention enema is safe and effective,which is worthy of further clinical research and promotion.
