Medical staff with high professional quality and lofty professional dedication,profoundly elaborated the mission and responsibility of medical staff,especially when the majority of medical staff shoulder heavy work tasks,but they still maintain their enthusiasm for work,They were active devote to work and outstanding perform of the tasks assigned by the organization.The research on the work engagement of medical staff in the context of work stress and workload surge can help to obtain the corresponding data on their behavior and psychological response to emergency situation,which is conducive to the better development of the medical industry.This study intends to investigate the intervention of group psychological counseling on Perceived social support and psychological capital to improve the level of medical staff’s work engagement.This study mainly adopted the following methods:questionnaire survey,quasiexperimental method and interview method.medical staff were selected as subjects from Guang ’an City Sichuan Province,and the Work Engagement Scale(UWES),Psychological Capital Scale-24(PCQ-24)and Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS)were administered.Statistical methods such as regression analysis and correlation analysis were used to investigate the correlation between work engagement,perceived social support and psychological capital.According to the first and second studies,the intervention program of group psychological counseling was formulated to provide reference and suggestions for future research work.The results are as follows:(1)The level of work engagement of medical staff is above average.From the perspective of gender variables,there is a significant difference in the work engagement of medical staff(p<0.05),male work engagement is higher than female;From the perspective of age variables,with the increase of age,the total score of work engagement steadily increase(p<0.001),The score of work engagement of medical staff reaches the maximum between 40 and 50 years old,and after 50 years old,it slowly decreases,but it is still at the second highest level;From the perspective of marital variables,the marital has a significant impact on the work engagement of medical staff(p<0.001),the unmarried medical staff is lower than the married medical staff;From the perspective of educational variables,there are significant differences in work engagement among medical staff with different educational background(p<0.05),The higher the educational background,the lower the work engagement level;There were significant differences among medical personnel with different working years(P <0.001);The longer the working years,the higher the job involvement;From the perspective of professional title variables(p<0.05),the medical staff is higher of the professional title level,their work engagement will be higher;There was no significant difference in work engagement between employment relationship and different positions.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between medical staff’s work engagement and psychological capital(r=0.813,p<0.01),a significant positive correlation between work engagement and perceived social support(r=0.656,p<0.01),and a significant positive correlation between perceived social support and psychological capital(r=0.658,p<0.01),which is a pair correlation.(3)Through model fitting,psychological capital plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between perceived social support and medical staff’s work engagement.(4)Group psychological counseling has a significant effect on improving medical staff’s work engagement.In this study,based on the investigation of the current situation of medical staff’s work engagement,through the study of the relationship between their Perceived social support and psychological capital,the intervention program of group psychological counseling was developed.The results proved that group psychological counseling was effective in improving medical staff’s work engagement,and provided reference for improving their work engagement in the future.
