| Objectives To observe the clinical efficacy of Shenqi Hongyi Decoction combined with small dose of tadalafil in the treatment of type 2 diabetic erectile dysfunction with deficiency of both Qi and Yin and blood stasis.Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,80 male patients with type 2diabetic erectile dysfunction of Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stasis were selected from the Department of Endocrinology and andrology of Tangshan Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2018 to May 2020.They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,40 cases in each group.On the basis of DM health education,reasonable diet control,exercise treatment and condition change monitoring,the patients in the two groups were given basic treatment of diabetes according to the 2017 version of Chinese guidelines for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes,and the blood glucose was controlled within the standard range.On this basis,the control group was given tadalafil tablets,5mg each time,1/d oral;The experimental group was treated with Shenqi Hongyi Decoction on the basis of the control group,2/d oral.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks and followed up for 4 weeks.During the follow-up period,two groups of patients continued basic treatment of diabetes to ensure that blood glucose control within the standard range.General information of all patients was recorded before the trial.The effective rate of IIEF-15,the total score of IIEF-15,the efficacy of TCM syndrome score,the total score of TCM syndrome,ED condition,EQS score,EHS score,blood routine,urine routine,stool routine,liver and kidney function,and various adverse reactions during medication were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment,Spss 23.0 was used to analyze the data collected during the trial in order to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety.Results A total of 80 patients were included in this trial,40 in each group.During the observation period,2 cases fell off in the experimental group and 3 cases fell off in the control group.A total of 75 cases were actually completed,38 cases in the experimental group and 37 cases in the control group.1 Intra group comparison: there were significant differences in IIEF-15 total score,IIEF-15 erectile function score,IIEF-15 insertion satisfaction score,IIEF-15 orgasm score,IIEF-15 overall satisfaction score,TCM syndrome total score,ED condition,EQS score and EHS score between the two groups after treatment and before treatment(P < 0.05).In terms of IIEF-15 libido score,there was significant difference between the experimental group after treatment and before treatment(P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference between the control group after treatment and before treatment(P > 0.05).The total score of IIEF-15 at the end of follow-up in the experimental group was significantly lower than that after treatment(P < 0.05),and significantly higher than that before treatment(P <0.05);The control group was significantly lower than that after treatment(P < 0.05),and there was no significant difference compared with that before treatment(P > 0.05).2 Comparison between the two groups: before treatment,there was no significant difference in age,ED course,ED condition,FBG,P2 HBG,Hb Alc,IIEF-15 total score,IIEF-15 erectile function score,IIEF-15 insertion satisfaction score,IIEF-15 libido score,IIEF-15 orgasm score,IIEF-15 overall satisfaction score,TCM syndrome total score,EQS score and EHS score between the two groups(P > 0.05),it was comparable.After treatment,there were significant differences in IIEF-15 effective rate,IIEF-15 total score,IIEF-15 libido score,IIEF-15 orgasm score,IIEF-15 overall satisfaction score,TCM syndrome total score,TCM syndrome integral curative effect,ED condition,EQS score and EHS score between the experimental group and the control group(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in IIEF-15 erectile function score and IIEF-15 insertion satisfaction score(P > 0.05).At the end of follow-up,there was significant difference in IIEF-15 total score between the experimental group and the control group(P < 0.05).3 There was no obvious abnormality in blood routine,urine routine,stool routine,liver and kidney function before and after treatment.During the whole experiment,one patient in the experimental group had mild diarrhea,one patient in the control group had mild dizziness and headache,and one patient had facial flushing.The above adverse reactions were mild and could be relieved by themselves without special treatment.Conclusions 1 Shenqi Hongyi Decoction combined with small dose of tadalafil treatment can safely and effectively improve the erectile function and systemic-related discomfort symptoms of patients with type 2 diabetic erectile dysfunction with deficiency of both Qi and Yin and blood stasis,and the clinical effect is better than that of small dose of tadalafil alone.2 During the follow-up period of 4 weeks,Shenqi Hongyi Decoction combined with small dose of tadalafil treatment can improve the erectile function and systemic-related discomfort symptoms of patients with type 2 diabetic erectile dysfunction with deficiency of both Qi and Yin and blood stasis,which has a certain persistence,and the duration is longer than that of
