Clinical Observation Of Bushen Huoxue Combined With Sildenafil In The Treatment Of Diabetic Erectile Dysfunction

Object:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Therapy of Tonifying Kidney and Activating Blood in Combination with Viagra on treating diabetes mellitus erectile dysfunction(DMED),we conducted a clinical observation while the control group was administered Viagra.Through this clinical experiment,we wish to provide a program combines Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of DMED.Methods:In this study,80 outpatients from China-Japan Friendship Hospital andrology participated in the research.They were spilted into two groups based on the randomized table,40 cases in trial group given reinforcing the kidney and promoting blood flow herbs(decocted in water,one dose each day)and Viagra(100 milligrams per tablet,patients should take one pill each time),40 cases in control group given Viagra(100 milligrams per tablet,patients should take one pill each time).Before treatment,all patients,age,duration of disease and other clinical data were recorded.The period of treatment was 6 weeks.Before and after 6 weeks treatment,IIEF-15 socre,TCM syndrome score(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)and adverse events of patiens were recorded in time.Statistical analysis was carried out on the score of subjects before and after treatment of IIEF-15 score,TCM syndrome score to evaluate the clinical results.Results:After 6 weeks,4 cases in trial group and 5cases in control group were lost and this study was completed on 70 cases.In the end of treatment,3 cases were cured,17 cases were excellence effective,8 cases were effective,8cases were ineffective and IIEF-15 score total effective rate was 77.8%in trail group.1 cases were cured,5 cases were excellence effective,15cases were effective,14cases were ineffective and IIEF-15 score total effective rate was 60.0%in control group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups were exactly and both two groups could improve the erectile function of patients.IIEF-15 score and TCM syndrome score of the two groups have significant difference before and after treatment(P<0.05).The IIEF-15 score and TCM syndrome score of trail group was better than that control group(P<0.05).Trial group in improving sexual desire,orgasmic function,overall satisfaction and soreness and weakness of waist and knees,fatigue,hyposexuality,aversion to cold and cold limbs,hot flashes and night-time sweating,dizziness tinnitusis was better than that in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in erectile function score,intercourse satisfaction score,lower abdominalor perineum pain score(P>0.05).In trail group,1 patient developed heartburn,while 2 patients in control group developed light-headedness.These patients can be subsided without any treatment.ConcIusion:Therapy of Tonifying Kidney and Activating Blood in Combination with Viagra and Viagra alone were effective on treat DMED.The IIEF-15 score and TCM syndrome score of trail group was better than that control group(P<0.05).Therapy of Tonifying Kidney and Activating Blood in Combination with Viagra was better than method of use Viagra alone and upgraded the living qualities of the patients.Accordingly,it was worth further research and promotion in clinical practice.
