Analysis On The External Treatment Of Anaphylactic Rhinitis Before The Republic Of China

Objective:Based on the collection of TCM external treatments of allergic rhinitis,we summarized the traits of the points and herbs choosen in the study.Method:With the fifth edition of Chinese Medical Classics as the main searching source,we collected the relevant data and established a database for statistical analysis.Results:It involved 93 medical books,1081 items,715 prescriptions of acupuncture and moxibustion,17 prescriptions of massage,366 prescriptions of external treatments.There are 66 acupoints used,and the top five of frequency were Shangxing,Fengfu,Yingxiang,Hegu and Kouheliao.The top five most frequently used drugs are Xixin,Fuzi,Xinyi,Guadi,Chuanxiong.The methods involved in the external treatments are acupuncture,moxibustion,massage,put medicine in the nose,fuming or steaming,applying medicine to the skin,twitching nose,and ironing.Conclusion:The study summarized the main acupuncture points,external treatments of the disease,providing the reference for the contemporary clinical application and research.
