Clinical Effect Of Wenshentongdu Decoction On The Residual Pain After PKP In The Elderly

Objective : In order to summarize the clinical significance of wenshentongdu Decoction in the treatment of PKP postoperative pain of osteoporosis thoracolumbar compression fracture,the relationship between the observation group and the control group was compared.Methods : From January 2019 to December 2019,48 patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fracture diagnosed in the orthopedic department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into observation group(wenshentongdu Decoction)and control group(celecoxib)with 0.5 course(1 week),1 course(2 weeks)and 2 weeks after PKP operation The VAS score and Oswestry dysfunction index of the two groups were evaluated after 4 weeks of treatment.BMD was evaluated again 3 months after operation.Results:(1)After comparing the age,gender and other general information of the two groups,there was no statistical significance,which was comparable.(2)Comparison of VAS score: there was no significant difference between the observation group and the control group before treatment(P = 0.575 > 0.05),which was comparable;the VAS score of 1 week,2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05);between the two groups,the pain relief of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(3)ODI score comparison: before treatment,the difference between the observation group and the control group was p = 0.928 > 0.05,with no statistical significance and comparability;after 1,2 and 4 weeks of treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);between the two groups,the observation group was better than the control group in terms of functional recovery.(4)BMD: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P = 0.338 > 0.05)before treatment,which was comparable;there was significant difference between BMD after 3 months and before treatment,suggesting that both groups could improve osteoporosis.The improvement of BMD in the observation group was better than that in the control group.(5)The total effective rate of the observation group was 91.67%,while that of the control group was 79.17%.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The symptom relief of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: Compared with celecoxib capsule,wenshentongdu decoction can significantly reduce the postoperative residual pain and improve the quality of life.The clinical effect of wenshentongdu Decoction in the treatment of post PKP pain in patients with osteoporotic thoracolumbar compression fracture is significant,which is easy to be accepted by oral Chinese medicine patients,while avoiding the side effects of related western medicine.
