Clinical Observation And Inflammatory Mechanism Study Of Shuimuhening Decoction In The Treatment Of Mild Cognitive Impairment In Parkinson S Disease

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Shuimuhening decoction on Parkinson’s Disease with Mild Cognitive Impairment(PD-MCI)and to explore its mechanism.In order to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of PD-MCI with the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:From September 2016 to December 2018,60 cases with PD-MCI patients with liver and kidney deficiency,phlegm and blood stasis blocking collateral disease treated in the encephalopathic department and the geriatric department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).The control group take Madopar of effective dose maintaining the treatment,the treatment group add in Shuimuhening decoction on this basis,the testing time is 12 weeks.The scores of Unified Parkionson’s Disease Rating StaleⅡ、Ⅲ(UPDRSⅡ、UPDRSⅢ),Montreal Cognitive Assessment scale(MoCA),Mini-Mental State Examination scale(MMSE)and Chinese Medicine Syndrome scale for patients in the two groups were compared before and after treatment on the first day of inclusion and at the end of 12 weeks of treatment.Serum levels of Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α)、Interleukin-1β(IL-1β)were measured by double antibody Enzyme-Linked Inmunosorbent Assay(ELISA)on the first day before enrollment and at the end of the study,we should observe all the scales and before and after treatment.Results:After the test,the treatment group was superior to the control group in aspects of daily life,motor function,cognitive function,serum inflammatory level and improvement of TCM syndromes,the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclus i on:Shuimuhening decoction with Madopar can improve the daily activity of patients,control the motor symptoms,improve the cognitive function,reduce the serum inflammatory factors level of TNF-α、IL-1β,and improve TCM syndrome points.The treatment of PD-MCI with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has obvious advantages over that of western medicine alone.
