| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Wuhuang Powder in the treatment of chronic kidney disease(CKD stagesl-3)complicated with acute gouty arthritis,thereby to find a safe and effective method for the treatment of chronic kidney disease complicated with acute gouty arthritis.Method:60 patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD stagesl-3)complicated with acute gouty arthritis were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group(n=30)and control group(n=30).Both groups were treated with colchicine on the basis of basic treatment of western medicine,and the experimental group was treated with Wuhuang Powder for 10 days.The clinical data of the subjects before treatment,on the 5th day and after treatment were collected and filled out the table,and the cumulative dosage of colchicine tablets was recorded when the patients in the two groups stopped taking colchicine tablets after pain relief.The related laboratory data before and after treatment were collected.And the collected data were statistically analyzed to observe its clinical efficacy.Result:After external application of Wuhuang Powder,the total effective rate was 96.55%in the experimental group and 75%in the control group.there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The experimental group was more effective than the control group.After 10 days of treatment,the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving clinical symptoms(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in joint fever between the two groups on the 5th day of treatment(P>0.05),which indicated that in the early stage of treatment,there was no significant difference in the therapeutic effect of joint fever between the two groups.After pain relief,the cumulative dosage of colchicine in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).Laboratory examination showed that ESR,uric acid(SUA)and C-reactive protein(CRP)in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant change in serum creatinine(Scr)and GFR levels in the two groups(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The external application of Wuhuang Powder in the treatment of chronic kidney disease(CKD stagesl-3)complicated with acute gouty arthritis can obviously relieve the limitation of joint movement and the symptoms of redness,swelling,heat and pain,reduce the dosage of colchicine and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.It has not been found that external application of Wuhuang Powder can reduce the levels of ESR,CRP,SUA and Scr. |
